Wierd.. 1017 not working.
I am already stuck with a bar code and a plastic cover and bad in math....
It should be 1017 indeed.
It's +79, +110, +141, + 172.
So that's everytime +31 more.
So the last one should be +203
And 814+203=1017
Why doesn't it work?
tried 3492 or 3429 (numbers in barcode between 1 0 7 and 1. no go.
The clue for 4-digit code is the barcode, NOT the sequence.
Tried using a decoder for the barcode but website wouldn't recognize my image.
Extra hint... count the thick bars.
Sequence answer works in second room.

For levers, look at the level of 'lava' in each of the lamps.

Look at the colored lamps from left to right (R-B-Y-G). Notice the level of the bubbles inside each.
That is the height for the levers.
Is the spring supposed to be above the blue lamp ? I can't see anything.
WALKTHROUGH
Solutions at the bottom
ROOM with MONITOR with NUMBERS
- Click the red valve. It's VALVE 1.
- Take the PLASTIC COVER (bottom left on the screen).
- Click the paper on the bottom right and see the BAR CODE. It's the hint for the 4-digit code.
- Open the box with the 4 digit code and take the BLUE KEY.
- Look at the sequence on the monitor and finish it. It's the 4-DIGIT CODE HINT for top right in lava lamps room
- Open the door on the right with the blue key and go in.
ROOM with 4 LAVA LAMPS.
- Click the red valve. It's VALVE 2.
- Take the RED PENTAGON PUZZLE PIECE (behind the green lamp).
- Take the SPRING (on the left side of the very top of the tube next to the blue lamp).
- Look at the heights of the bubbles in the lava lamps. This is your LEVER HINT for the room with water bowl.
- Look at the floor to see the 6-buttons order hint for the first room.
- Use the sequence hint from the previous room to open the 4-digit code box on the top right and take TRIANGLE 1.
- Go back to the first room.
ROOM with MONITOR with NUMBERS
- Zoom in on the door on the left and click the buttons in the right order and go in.
ROOM with 4 BLUE HANDLES
- Click the red valve. It's VALVE 3.
- Take the RED BUTTON (below the other 4 things on the backwall).
- Combine SPRING, BUTTON and COVER and now you have a WORKING BUTTON.
- Put the working button on the safe and take TRIANGLE 2.
- Look at the 4 things on the backwall. It's the HINT for the 4 HANDLES first part of 4 digit code in lavalamps room.
- Put the handles on the right colour and see the second part of 4-digit hint for lavalamps room.
- 2x RIGHT.
ROOM with 4 LAVA LAMPS.
- Open the safe with the 4 digit hint from the handles and take TRIANGLE 3.
- LEFT.
ROOM with MONITOR with NUMBERS
- Zoom in on the door in the back and put all 3 triangles in and go in.
ROOM with WATER BOWL
- Use the hint from the lavalamps to put the levers in the right position and take the SCREWDRIVER.
- Look at the wires in the back. It's the LEVER HINT for the room with 4 eyes.
- RIGHT.
ROOM with BARREL
- Click the red valve. It's VALVE 4, the last one.
- Click on top of the barrel to get the BLUE half circle PUZZLE PIECE.
- Use the screwdriver on the vent (top middle) and take BATTERY 1.
- LEFT.
ROOM with WATER BOWL
- Because you clicked all 4 red valves you can now take BATTERY 2 from the water bowl.
- Zoom in on the left door and put the batteries in and go in.
ROOM with 4 EYES
- Use the wires hint from the previous room to open the box with levers and take the DISKETTE.
- Look at the I-POD (bottom of the screen a bit left). It's the 4-DIGIT HINT for the robot room (count squares).
- GO UP.
ROBOT ROOM
- Put the diskette in the robot and take the PURPLE half circle PUZZLE PIECE.
- Look at the floor in front of the robot to see the SHAPES HINT.
- Use the I-POD hint from the previous room to open the 4-digit door on the right and go in.
SHAPES CODE ROOM
- Use the shapes hint from the previous room to open the shapes code and take the ORANGE CIRCLE PUZZLE PIECE.
- GO RIGHT.
GOLDEN DOOR ROOM
- Look at the clock. It's COLOUR CODE HINT part 1.
- GO LEFT and DOWN.
ROOM with 4 EYES
- Use the eyes (with colour code hint part 1) to get COLOUR CODE HINT part 2.
- GO UP and RIGHT (2x).
GOLDEN DOOR ROOM
- Put the colour code in and take the GREEN pentagon PUZZLE PIECE.
- Put all puzzle pieces below the golden door and the door will open.
- Go out and you're out.
SOLUTIONS
BAR CODE / 4 DIGIT CODE first room
- If you only count the thicker and thickest bars you see 3142
4 DIGIT CODE top right in LAVA LAMPS room.
- The sequence is 312-391-501-642-814-?
- So it's adding 79, 110, 141 and 172
- In fact this is a new sequence. It's everytime 31 more, so the next is (172+31) 203
- So you add 203 and you get (814+203) 1017
6 BUTTONS ORDER
- On the floor in the lava lamps room is
C-B-F
A-D-E
So click the buttons in this order
3-2-6
1-4-5
4 HANDLES and 4 DIGIT CODE middle in LAVA LAMPS room
- The things on the wall are green-red-yellow-pink
- So put the handles on those colours.
- And the numbers you see now are 7392
LEVERS WATER BOWL ROOM
- The bubbles in the lava lamp are MIDDLE-LOW-HIGH-MIDDLE
LEVERS ROOM with 4 EYES
- The wires are LOW-MIDDLE-HIGH-LOW
4-DIGIT CODE in ROBOT ROOM
- In the hint you see 3 squares is 6. So one square is 2.
- And now it's just counting how many squares there are on the 4 shapes.
- So the code is 4868
SHAPES CODE
- It's just the shapes from the paper. So;
SQUARE without bottom line - RECTANGLE - CIRCLE - HALF CIRCLE
COLOUR CODE
- The clock is 13:22, so that's the hint how many times to click the eyes (when you start with closed eyes).
- If you click the eyes that many times (the first 1x, the second 3x etc.) you see the colour order Blue-Red-Green-Green.

HOW do you combine items????? I can't get the spring the button and the plastic cover to combine!!! I have them in my inventory and can only click on one item at a time. They do not move. They do not combine!
Duh! Duh! Duh! Order matters! Why do I find these things AFTER I post my problem? I clicked on the Spring then the plastic cover then the red button and now I have a working button to put someplace.
Wow, this is really another kind of game by the same authors of all those mass production games - just phat!

Made it through with no help. I really liked this game.
Wow, that was ROCK HARD!
But I loved it...frankly I hadn't assumed this duo can pull off such tough ones with puzzles you really had to use your head! (Usually it's rather those of the "have a 2-drawer cabinet, find the upper codelocked and a card with a 4-digit number in the lower one" kind ;))
Replaying this game I realize how much I miss, inventive games, as well as the conversation and interaction that we don't get these days.
