i have 4 grey keys opened the box thing but all it says is fin 64 end ....dont remember where all the keys came from sorry...x

try top left corner cool...

I did get the one under the bed, and the one in the pillow.
We need 4 for the case I think.

hummm

@ting ting ... I did that, but it only shows a number. I do not get a key.

CB look under carpet

Oops ... I did not get the key from under the bed. Have 3 now.
Where's the 4th one?

And has anyone used the knife anywhere?

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 1:58 PM

game is buggy:
- used keys on chest, left & returned, now must open chest again...
or
- chest open only by using 3 keys...
:-|

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:00 PM

What have you done, Cool?
:-o

cant get 3rd gr key from pic

well, first live game in long time and its buggy, good luck all

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:03 PM

fatima,
click top left corner of painting left of night table/bed 3x (& you'll also see a number 27).

Well I put in the correct password and the light above the door is green. But I still can not get out.
Still says: I see the keyhole of the door, so I am shut in.
At the window it says something like: the window is painted from the inside so I can't see anything.

@fatima, I can't either
I have 2 gold keys
1 for chest and 1 for door ("La clef de la porte")
I think one was from the box in the closet

@premiere, I've clicked that painting a dozen times, but no key has dropped

Well, alot keys and numbers and can't do anything ... I'm giving up on this one!

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:06 PM

one gold key for drawer of night table
where did you find the other, Puzzled?

Been waiting 3 minutes for the 20 second advert to buffer.

@PuzzledinCA

That's probably the one I need for the door. Gonna try and get it.

Oh,one key was from putting paper under door and using the wire on the keyhole, I think

well i give up ....good luck to all playing :)

can't get gray key #3 and not making sense of all the numbers ...

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:09 PM

using crayon on door keyhole, it says:
if you do that you'll lose the key...

There was a comment when you clicked the keyhole about not being able to see through, I think.

Nevermind, this game is very buggy. I can't even utilize the items in my inventory. I'll wait for the next one.

Put paper under door first to catch it (I did it before coloring paper, but that shouldn't matter) -- you know, that old trick.

Inventory very difficult to use.
The only way to "drop" an item seems to be to go to another scene and come back.

I'm out :)))

I tried the paper under the door before, because the text actualy says "I see the KEY of the door" but then I thought i had to be keyhole. Just forgot that I would have to push it out.

Use 'space' to drop an item.

you can use the spacebar to drop items back.

And it's not the wire (there's no wire), it's the crayon you use to push the key out.

@Cool, maybe you care to tell the password??

@Premiere .... you need to push the key (which is on the outside of the door) out of the keyhole, it will fall on the paper.

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:16 PM

got the other gold key from keyhole now...

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:16 PM

thx anyway, Cool!

@zahra

I think you van figure it out. Not that hard.
Look at the numbers you got from the room.
You need six digits.

The problem is the first digit Cool.
I didn't see a 1? number.

Just found key from picture -- and I thought it was tiny in inventory!
Teensy gray line on floor under picture

The 1 number is somewhere under the carpet ST

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:20 PM

there's a 1? under carpet (view big CB)

Lol, thanks Cool. I thought that 1 was a 7.
Out too now :)

I still can't.
I have: 377254

Finally, with great difficulty, opened case.

ST: 1 number was under carpet in front of cupboard

This comment has been removed by the author.

I didn't see a "5" number, though

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:24 PM

Ah, finally me out, too!

Hint for the code:
first digit gives order for the 2nd...

Numbers you find are;
27
31
42
64
55
13

@ST .... not 73 ... that was actually 13 ... remember?

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:24 PM

Puzzled,
use crayon on paper, you'll get the 5? one.

Puzzle, use the crayon on the paper

Lol Premiere, PuzzledinCA used his paper already on the door before using the crayon on it :)

I found:
13 under carpet
27 behind painting bed view
37 (sequence of 19, 23, 29...?)
42 from door question
55 from note using crayon
64 in the chest using 4 keys

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:27 PM

NUMBERS
13 - carpet (CB)
27 - painting (bed)
31 - painting (CB, complete sequence)
42 - answer of the universe ☺ (door)
55 - paper (use crayon)
64 - chest (open with 4 grey keys)

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:28 PM

Great, Zahra,
now it's foolproof (I hope)...!

oh,nvm, forgot about the paper!

But, how 31?
I had 19 (+4) 23 (+6) 29
so did +8 = 37

Oh, next PRIME number!

(the crowbar was so small, I thought it was a wire! lol!)

Ok, now i see the correct code is 371254, but how??

I dont see how 19, 23, 29...? is 31.
It increases by 4 and 6. I thought the last number would increase by 8 to make 37.

Zahra,
You used +4, +6, +8 to finish the sequence.
But the maker wanted you to finish the sequence with the next prime number 19, 23, 29 and then 31.

PRIME number?? Oh ok... should have thought of that.
Thanks @Puzzledin and @small-tool!

       Anonymous  3/14/12, 2:32 PM

LOL,
it seems to be the «make assurance double sure»-game of the day...!
;-P

For door, it was the computer Deep Thought who gave the number, not Loonquawl, the high priest, who was MOST UPSET with this answer.

@premiere

I do not really care what day it is ... what matters is that I was out BEFORE Small-Tool, which makes today a glorious day.

I am so proud of myself...:)))

Indeed PuzzledinCA, know your classics :)

@Puzzle

Duh .. he was only upset because he forgot what the question was.

Congrats Cool :)
And I don't want to take away your 15 minutes of fame, your moment in the sun, but wasn't it you who posted; Easy, if you are a Douglas Adams fan :)
So why was it Puzzled who had to see the flaw?
Just joking :)

S-T ... have I told you recently just how much I hate you?
:DDD

Nah, it was too long ago, so I thought let's see if the fish will bite :)

lol, small-tool -- I had to look up Loonquawl because I didn't even recognize the name. (But I did know about Deep Thought -- classic British SF, indeed!)
And I didn't even realize there was writing on the door until Premiere posted the quote -- I love it when different people find/notice different things.

@Cool, The point was they never knew what the GREAT QUESTION was. Deep Thought's task was to find the answer to the question, not the question itself. (typical user specs)

"Exactly!" said Deep Thought. "So once you do know what the question actually is, you'll know what the answer means."
