got the same problem here aridza

ooo, its sprung into life, lol

hmmm, language barrier by the looks of it

yes definitly language barrier, I deleted my post earlier because it finally worked but it probably would have been the same if it didn't work

ok got key from doll

LOL Im betting slow to load and giving no indications of progress? Be patient...

To get the key from the doll use the characters on the stairs and combine them to get the code.

How does one look at the japanese numbers on the stairs? Is that clue for the Doll?

hmmmm still waiting

This is how the doll code should look like;

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/560/dollcode.png/

LOL I was close add the figures together on the stairs to get the code (japanese numbers)

ok got candlestick

Where to use the little ladder from the 5-colour code cupboard?

Great game, im out if anyone needs a hand

ST, use the ladder in fron of the 2 pictures once through the door at bottom of the stairs

I got a UFO???

Not there yet my_bum_smells.
Just got the robot (is it a robot?) from the cupboard with the 4 colours (used the marbles hint to open that).

have little robot but what to do with it??

Ahh cool, did you open the 5 digit box?

you need to look under dolls skirt, and look at photos in drawer dor that

Rimic, you will need the robot later for a clue

Lol, that's why I could not figure out the 5 digit code. I would never look under a women's skirt.

Haha ST, its just habit here :P

ok so have key for robot now and a 5 and a 3?

Do you have to read the window corners in columns order to get the corner sequence for the painting with candles? Rows doesn't seem to work?

Ok I see the moving blue light in the other window, that's probably the order.

LOL sneaky trick with the candlelabra corners...

Yep S-T start second down first column and just go round...

now have candles and clue from robot

Ok I still have the UFO, the screwdriver from using the hammer to the left of the windows. Used that screwdriver to make a little hole in the wall and the candles. Now what? No idea about the 3-digit code in the bathroom!?

I mean I have no clue for the order of numbers. I have Green 3 and Red 5 from the toys and Blue 7 from the toilet.

Rimic,
How did you get a key for the robot/ufo ?

You got windup key for UFO S-T? Gives a LR button code..

there is a four digit code to solve as well upstairs for one of the draws

Nope Leroy. Where is that key?

@s-t the wind up key is in the bathtub

Rimic maybe rememeber LOl I think it was in Bathroom but not sure now...

Pull the curtains (go right in bathroom) ST then open lid on bathtub

Lol, thanks. Didn't look for another view in the bathroom.

and out woohooo lol thank you my_bum_smells for walkthrough and everyone else for your help!! Love games that are challenging although i take forever to finish them lol :D

LOL so funny I am getting to know intimately the japanese number characters....

Am I the only one here that found it impossible to "see" all the characters while moving up the stairs??? Was there a way to stop that I don't know about? lol anyway, TY for spoiler, @small-tool!

Dead link

That was fun! TY for the WT...my_bum......lol

I know it was a ghost story...maybe @mhythr can fill in the details.... Great game!

keep refreshing! @mrtelcom....

This game was terribly creepy o_o

Summary: (I skipped through the intro) but basically the player went back to a house in some village he visited during summer vacation as a 7 year old kid. Something about investigating the truth about a murder or something? (I'm guessing since I skipped the intro).

The corpse in the box is that of a friend he made while visiting the village. The player was going to return home soon but did not want to disappoint his friend so he did not say anything and simply disappeared during their game of hide-and-seek.

Well it turns out the friend hid in there thinking the player would look for him in the box, as they often played, but ended up dying in there while waiting.

The player (at present) is now a grown man with his own family and kid. He goes home intending to come clean to his friend's family about how his friend died after remembering how it all happened, but the very next day he found his own kid who resembles very much his 7 year old self missing. The ghost of the friend mistook his kid for him and I guess "got him". (perhaps all those body markings in the house were victims of the ghost as well, the writing in blood next to them read "it's not you" as if the ghost was trying to exact revenge)

Well, I finished it, but it's me or this game reminding me another japanese game that I play a lot of time ago? The game I remember has better graphics, but I remember there was a counter with a japanese doll in a glass box. The place was like an hotel. Somebody knows what game it was?

Thanks @U-TA for the explanation.

If it weren't for the body outlines on the floor, I would never have guessed it was such a dark (and sad) story ...

Well, I would!

Simply because you can see ghost-like spirits both when you first open the door at the bottom of the stairs and when you open the cover of the bathtub.

Can't get to start, keep clicking on ">Play" but nothing is happening.

Wow.. this game is seriously creepy!

To add to U-ta's synopsis:
In the opening, the main character Akira, a reporter, is investigating the mysterious death of kids in a village.
25 years ago, in summer, a 10-year old boy Jun disappeared and never seen again. In the following summer, a 7-year old disappeared and was later found dead in a deserted house in the forest. And subsequently, every summer thereafter, the same incident happened, until finally most villagers who have 7-year old boys would send them somewhere else to spend the summer holiday, and the case went cold.

Akira is tasked with investigating the case, and found that the year before he disappeared, Jun came to the village with his recently divorced mom. Jun being a city kid didn't mix well with the local kids. However, in the summer, he seemed to have made a friend and happily went out to play everyday prior to his disappearance.

Akira wondered why was it that Jun was the only one never found, and why was it that all other victims after him were all 7 year old boys.. HE felt that the key to the answer must lie with the disappearance of Jun, and set forth to the village to investigate the case.

In the ending, it became clear that Akira in fact did unwittingly caused Jun's death.

A 7-year old Akira was spending his summer holiday in the village to recuperate from an illness, and made friend with Jun.
Not wanting to hurt his friend when it was time for him to leave, he decided to leave quietly during a game of hide-and-seek.

Jun and Akira both knew that the box in which Jun was hiding could only be opened from outside.
Jun hid in there because he believed that Akira would come get him.

So basically, Jun has been searching for Akira all these while, thus the mysterious disappearances of 7 year old kids, and the words "It's not you..."

In the end, Jun got Wataru, Akira's 7 year old boy who looked exactly like Akira.
When they went to look in Wataru's bed, Akira and his wife found a picture of a 7-year old Akira, and the words "got you!"

The ending sentence says:
"Do you have any unfinished hide-and-seek game?"

@Unknown,
Leave it for a while.. even when it said 100%, it still took a while for me before the game started.
