First live game ever for me!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome and Enjoy Amy Mac :) Hello tribble :)
ReplyDeleteI have an SD, a knife, and a key. Knife to get SD, SD to get key. Now where the heck does this key go?
ReplyDeleteUse "Dave" clue for the drawer combination.
ReplyDeleteThanks tribble! I don't know how i missed that. XD
ReplyDeleteahhhhh my game crashed lol page says plug in failed geez man that happened to me lastnight :/ hopefully i can continue the game
ReplyDeletePhillips head screwdriver opens far left light...look at wires there where you found the key...maybe that will help us on the color panel downstairs...
ReplyDeleteThose colors aren't "working as planned"
ReplyDeleteRimic, that happened to me a moment ago as well.
ReplyDeleteI just mysteriously lost my SD when i was clicking around.... I really hope I don't need it anymore...
ReplyDeleteoh no and again i was near the end :(
ReplyDeletewhyyyyyy lol
ReplyDeletemaybe the colored wires is clue for color code?
ReplyDeletenow it wont load, damn it we were all on a roll here lol
ReplyDeleteok im in and with my stuff still yes!
ReplyDeleteyeah, my flash has been giving me trouble since the last update
ReplyDelete@Eclinton55: if it is, then i'm not getting it.
ReplyDeleteIt's either that or the strange symbol clue.
@tribble: Use the "Dave" clue for the desk drawer.
ReplyDeletehas anyone found the 5th shape from the paper?
ReplyDeletethe one that is furthest left?
ReplyDeleteuse two numbers for V.....
ReplyDeleteoh no! my flash just crashed!!
ReplyDeleteA = 1, so D = 4, tribble.
ReplyDeleteWhat drawer do I open with gold key? Middle drawer?
ReplyDeleteit wont go!
Eclinton: i haven't see it yet. Or the C button (which i'm assuming exists)
ReplyDeletetribble: D=4....
Where is the "V" with the circle under it? That's the one I can't find...
ReplyDeletetribble think of the alphabet
ReplyDeleted=4 an so on
the coloured wire clue is for the colour pad in the other room..if you look at the wires, they are overlapping each other...so blue is first and so on...
ok, caught back up
ReplyDeleteRimic, i just figured it out when you posted it. Ya beat me to it. XD
ReplyDeleteGold key! Where, Roberto?
ReplyDeletewhat on earth is going on with this plug in failure business!! seriously lol
ReplyDeletethat did it rimic!
ReplyDeletehey clio :)
ReplyDeleteColour are in order of wires overlapping each other, clue blue is on top of all other wires
ReplyDeleteoh good im glad i could be of assistance lol
ReplyDeleteThe v with the circle is up from the fan when you turn it off. you are in another room and go left.
ReplyDeleteok, found last figure.....now stuck
ReplyDeletegold key behind note.
ReplyDeletebehind note?
ReplyDeleteok i give up! my game isnt loading anymore (sobs and more sobs) lol
ReplyDeleteGold key behind the note with the symbols. Click lower left to flip the paper.
ReplyDeleteOpened the panel with the key, pushed the assumed C button (yay for guessing!) and when i got to the screen with the exit door, it flashes and won't let me click anything. Part of me what's to call this another bug, but i think we still have to do something with the symbols.
ReplyDeleteand now...i have no idea what to do next. Have turned off the lasers and pressed buttons a, b and c.
ReplyDeleteomg....there it is!
ReplyDeleteYep, got that far too and crashed again, guess it's telling me I should get back to studying!
ReplyDeleteis the light flashing over the exit door for you too?
ReplyDeleteEclinton: alright, so it's not just a bug on my end, then.
ReplyDeleteI think there's gotta be some puzzle we haven't figured out yet. We still have the symbols and the 4,9,5 clues to worry about.
my exit is flashing... this game is driving me nuts and i hope to god it doesnt crash again lol
ReplyDeleteI must be missing something. I cant find another puzzle or another room. ....and yes, the lights in the exit room are flashing for me too.
ReplyDeleteso with the 4,9 and 5, they come with colours also?? 4 is red, 9 green and 5 yellow??
ReplyDeletewhere was the 4? I dont remember seeing it.
ReplyDeleteon the one of the red stripes in the scene with the swirly weird symbol.
ReplyDeleteclio, 4 is in the first scene right of door on the red and black striped brick, top row 3 bricks over :) is that to much info? lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the 4....didn't notice it before
ReplyDeleteAaaand it crashed on me again. *siiiiighs* i give up. I can't keep doing this. Good luck you guys.
ReplyDeletelol crazed you beat me to it this time
ReplyDeleteBut I still have no idea what to do next
ReplyDeletethat is exactly the RIGHT amount of info, rimic..lol. Thank you..hahha
ReplyDeletesee ya crazed :D its just a shame this happens so often, ruins the game :(
ReplyDeleteno worries clio :D
ReplyDeleteand now the whole game just crashed...arghhh. (but did get to see the 4, thanks rimic..lol)
ReplyDeletehas anyone figured out the symbols?
ReplyDeletelol @ clio this is just poo seriously
ReplyDeleteNo more places to search. Tried press those buttons one each time but nothing changes.
ReplyDeleteack, I just keep checking the rooms but nothing else is jumping out at me.
ReplyDeleteI cant get the game to open again. Poo and phooey indeed. Now im getting 1 second of an advert, then a white screen. Happened with the Gameso games the other day. Good luck everyone.
ReplyDeleteyes roberto tried the same but nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero lol what are those 3 doors right from the desk scene? a-1 b-2 and c-3?
ReplyDeletei think that was the code for Dave early in the game.
ReplyDeletebye clio :D
ReplyDeleteohhhh!!! My game crashed too. :(
ReplyDeleteahhh ok yes Eclinton55, i thought they would relate to the a,b and c buttons :) but i dont think so
ReplyDeleteoh nooo roberto!
ReplyDeleteI`m finishing a new game to post. Go back to it.
ReplyDeleteGL all!
ok, there is a number on the screen with every shape. found a 7 also. just don't see a number in the room with the desk.
ReplyDeleteoops, nevermind, the 7 is with the desk. no number with the 3 windows
ReplyDeletenão consegui terminar
ReplyDeleteso click the symbols according to the numbers?? so the v with the circle underneath is clicked 5 times and so on and do this in order from the paper...im not sure if that is right just a thought
ReplyDeleteWell..10th time lucky. Got the game back. Had to play it through again tho. It didnt save. But, still stuck
ReplyDeletehaha clio you go!!
ReplyDeletedoes anyone have a number for the triangle with a circle in it?
ReplyDeletecould it be as simple as the 3 above it? hmmmm, not sure.
ReplyDeleteoh noooo ^%$^$^#$$% you got to be #%^$%^$% kidding me!! lol not again
ReplyDeletemaybe the 3? hehe my game crashed so cant see
ReplyDeleteoh no, rimic !! Again for you?
ReplyDeleteThis game should call "Escape the Crash"!
ReplyDeleteyep again :( thats just double poo man!
ReplyDeletelol roberto!
ReplyDelete...and i spoke too soon. Mine just crashed again too. (stop laughing rimic..lol). Not going to try again. Bye everyone.
ReplyDeleteyeah, I give up for now too. I will check back later to see if anyone else has gotten further.
ReplyDeletewould the code be
ReplyDeletearrow with circle underneath=5
the y with pom poms lol=9
nesw=7
triangle with circle in middle=?
cloud=4
hmmmmm
bye clio..again :D
ReplyDeleteI'd assume the triangle/circle is 3 from C3, but more importantly, where the heck do we enter this?
ReplyDeleteEven if we get all the numbers, where would we enter them? (pretending im playing, now..lol)
ReplyDeleteclio funny, well i thought you just click on the actual symbols
ReplyDeleteis there another sd somewhere?? for the other covers? there is 5 of them...pffffttt who knows
ReplyDeleteIve got the game back...played it through again..BUT, im not going near that exit room, this time. Will keep hunting for either a flat head screwdriver, and i will try your method of pressing the symbols in the order of the note and the number of times we think..hang on.
ReplyDeleteil do the same :D
ReplyDelete......and wasnt quick enough. It crashed again. How frustrating!! Poo, phooey and rats!!
ReplyDeleteplease somebody fix this game rahhhhh lol
ReplyDeleteIve loaded it again, but wont open it yet, so that when you give me the solution....i can race through and escape before it crashes..haha
ReplyDeletehehe i dont have solution...pressure much lol
ReplyDeleteLOL. Hopefully, Self-Defiant will come along and fix the problem. He's usually quick as lightening addressing any issues with his games.
ReplyDeleteok good im liking this game even though we are getting nowhere :/
ReplyDeleteand crashes again
ReplyDeletei think the comments are mostly on the game crashing lol
ReplyDeleteI see I'm not the only one with the game crashing...I'll wait till tomorrow...hope he fixes it!
ReplyDeleteWell...that will teach us not to open it!!..LOLOL. And me too.
ReplyDeleteI will try again later this afternoon. Hi di hi nokra, but bye di bye from me, on this game till later. Good luck for the millionth time, rimic. lol
ReplyDeleteHi guys, my game isn't crashing at all, but still stuck with all of you. =/
ReplyDeletesevensthefavorite dont speak to soon lol
ReplyDeleteBit weird, but nine is the only number I can't click on.
ReplyDeleteRimic I've got twenty mins on my clock and no problem so far. *fingers crossed*
ReplyDeletetrue sevensthefavorite and the 3 also in the scene with the 3 doors/windows
ReplyDeleteSorry everyone! I fixed it. I should have checked back here sooner! ;)
ReplyDeleteoh selfdefiant your the best :D
ReplyDeleteFigured out the three doors are the order of buttons, you have to press a b and then c, thought pressing them in a new order would help, but only one sequence.
ReplyDeleteshall we start over again SD?
ReplyDeleteAh! Crash! Starting over
ReplyDeleteok flashing is gone now what?? lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for fixing it SD. Out now after clicking on the panel left of the exit door.
ReplyDeletelol sevensthefavorite you should be right with this one now, i think its fixed only time will tell :)
ReplyDeleteand out!!!! yes yes YES!!! finally :D
ReplyDeleteso, what was the order of the colors...the wires?
ReplyDelete@nokra: the colors are in order from the topmost wire to the bottom. You can see what is on top by seeing if it is overlapped by any other wire. So blue is the first one.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteJust tried that...guess I got one wrong....I'll look again! TY @jbg!
ReplyDeleteGot it!
ReplyDeleteCheck the bricks around the final door... :)
ReplyDeletecrashed...again....later gators!
ReplyDeletethought it was fixed
ReplyDeleteStill not fixed game keeps crashing and doesn't save
ReplyDeletefinally made it out.
ReplyDeleteOn the left side of the exit door there`s a panel hidden in the wall. This is the place where to place the numbers related and the symbols.
ReplyDeleteAfter another crash...I'm out. Thank-you SD.
ReplyDeleteWell since Premiere must be sleeping or something I'll try a walkthrough - game never crashed for me but I was trailing behind so I guess the whatever problem was fixed - thanks Selfdefiant for another clever and beautiful game, and thanks for paying attention! Walkthru coming soon...
ReplyDeleteThanks @margaret tironi for the exit panel
ReplyDeleteI can't find the number 7 in the desk scene, however.
TY in advance @just1 for the WT
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you @selfdefiant, for another interesting, different game!
ReplyDeleteThe game isn't loading for me on either website :-( I feel so left out, lol
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I bothered to come back! Yaaay for fixing the game.
ReplyDeleteFinally escaped, good game (once it was possible to finish) SD. ^^
1st passageway, 1st scene:
ReplyDeleteNote barrel you can't move with a cock that you can't open.
Note symbol above left of door and number 4 lower right.
Note 2 panels with flathead screws.
Go left...
2nd scene:
Note vent you can't reach and hose you can't unscrew.
Note new panel on the left has phillips-head screws.
Note 'B' with button. No use to press the button yet. Go right twice.
3rd scene:
Here you have a desk with a locked drawer in the middle, and a 5-number coded drawer upper left. (The rest are empty.)
Note symbol under desk and sign above which is stuck to the wall.
Click on the lower drawer of the file cabinet; 2 more clicks and find the KNIFE.
Click on the next drawer up and find the word DAVE.
Use knife to remove sign; find SD. It won't work on the flathead screws, so aha! But first let's finish exploring. Go right...
4th scene:
Nothing to do here but observe 3 clues. The doors give you the order to press the buttons in, also the key to open the desk drawer, using DAVE. (Spoilers at end)
Also there's another symbol, right under the number 3. return to the desk...
Open the left drawer using DAVE (positions in the alphabet). Find SYMBOL PAPER. Click around the left bottom until it turns over, and find GOLD KEY! (thanks clio-rose!) No place you can use it yet though. Return to...
the steel panel on the far left and remove the screws. See some wacky wiring and a SILVER KEY.
Yay, this key opens the middle desk drawer. Return there...
and find the WRENCH. go left twice again...
and remove the HOSE. Go right once...
attach HOSE to barrel, and turn cock with your friend the WRENCH. This drains the barrel so you can push it, twice to the left till it is under the vent. Remove the vent and crawl through the ducts!
To be continued...
Walkthrough pt. 2:
ReplyDeleteYou'll be pleased to find this is not one of those ductwork mazes. Going first left, you see a spinning fan with a symbol and a spinning 6 or 9 on one of the blades. Go right instead; there's an extra down arrow. Follow this and find yourself in....
Passageway 2. Simpler here. Going right there is an A button; you might as well press it, it turns green. Going left you find a panel with a 5-color code. Remember the wiring in the other panel? You'll have to go look at it again, or wait for my spoiler at the end. The order is wires front to back (they all cross one another). Entering this code, you find a switch, which once you pull you can't pull again. Don't be shy; pull it. Return to...
The fan in the ducts:
It's stopped spinning, and now shows a 9 (which corresponds with that symbol).
Also there is now an up arrow. You were born for adventure - follow it! Having done so, you see a new down arrow, and clicking that you find yourself in
Passageway 3! This is the other side of the 'door that won't open from this side' in Passageway 1. You can go through the door but to get back here you have to crawl through the ducts again.
You can't go right left, thanks to the security measures, so go left, and..
find a panel with a gold keyhole. Use your GOLD KEY, see the 'C' button (but go and press the 'B' button first). Also notice the symbol on the wall and the number 5 on the door of the panel.
Well I just had my first CRASH, so we'll continue in a bit with part 3...
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWell my game didn't save either. Wonder what's going on... I have a feeling it isn't Selfdefiant's fault...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, here's
Walkthrough part 3
If you haven't already, return to the 1st passageway and press the B button (far left). Then return to Passageway 3 (through the ducts, past the fan again) and press button C. Now you can get past the lasers.
Final scene: Exit door. We're almost there. Just to the lower left of the door there's a sliding panel which reveals a 5-number code box. This is where you must remember the number associated with each symbol, enter the numbers according to the paper you're carrying, and you're OUT!
Spoiler time:
'DAVE' drawer: 4-1-22-5 (positions of D-A-V-E in the alphabet).
Color code: Blue, red, green, purple, orange (from front to back).
Exit code: 59734 (numbers found near where each symbol was found, order from symbol paper).
Thanks again Selfdefiant, and thanks to all the intrepid players! We're free again and waiting for the next weird place to be locked into!
@just1 -- where was the 7?
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to mention the number 7 in the desk scene is on the wall, upper left, just above the arrow bar.
ReplyDeleteTY again, @just1 -- very SNEAKY!
ReplyDeleteNEW FLASH GUYS: there is NO WAY OUT. these idiots designed this game just to waste your precious time.
ReplyDeleteNEWS FLASH JULIET !! Whomp whomp! Wrong. There are many of us out.
ReplyDeleteStill won't load, grrrr
ReplyDeleteHooray!!! finally in on Yizzim..... now to get out, haha!
ReplyDeleteLOL, just1,
ReplyDeletewhat exactly do you mean with «something»...?
(quoting: «...Premiere must be sleeping or something...»)
;-P
usually I enjoy my beauty sleep at Sunday morning about 4AM (Swiss time), when the game was posted...!
;-D
Thx for doing a nice WT-job!
☺
yay and out! :-D

I just wanted to play, but here too the game is crashing all the time and it doesn´t save :(
ReplyDeleteI won´t restart until this is fixed. A pity.
For the people who have issues with flash, the latest update does not work with FireFox 13. just rollback the flash driver to 11.2. Problem solved.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ that juliet's comment... no idiots made me waste my time! Another great game!! Thanks selfdefiant :D
ReplyDeleteI have FF 12 and Adobe flash Player 11. And i have the problem....
ReplyDeleteI've just played and got out with no crashes - maybe it's been fixed or I'm just lucky ??!!
ReplyDeleteJust checked and I have FF13.0.1 and still on Flash Player 11.2 so that's maybe why I didn't have a problem ?
ReplyDeleteThank you Selfdefiant for an enjoyable, interesting game. :)
ReplyDeleteThe only place it crashed for me was when I tried to turn off switch 2 while switch 1 was still on. I did that as a test to see if it would turn off the fan.
ReplyDeleteFirefox 13.0.1
I just played, no crashes. I played for 24 minutes, and used Chrome.
ReplyDeleteGreat Game - Different - thanks, SD!!!!
Okay...I'm playing in Chrome, now....wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteUm....crashed in Chrome....I will not chance it again....may be a shockwave issue! going to look for upgrades....lol
ReplyDeletecrashed for me too in chrome
ReplyDelete@Premiere -
ReplyDelete"beauty sleep"? You mean you're not just a genius but beautiful too? Please come to America.
Seriously, thanks for the help for the colorblind, which I completely forgot about.
in FF - crashed
ReplyDeleteObviously it crashes everywhere. At least i am not alone. Selfdefiant do you have an idea how to fix it ? It would be such a cool game if it was playable !
ReplyDeleteWell here I am...munching on some delicious, juicy strawberries which, by the way, I am happy to share with all the frustrated, *lost screwdrivers* compadres...lololo...beyond the point of wondering why I should be laughing at an SD game that gave me a run for my money ;) Anyway....as usual, I digress but that is what I do because I seem to find a strange humor in that *weird* process ....rofl!!!!!
ReplyDelete@just1....how may I show my undying gratitude for your great walkthrough :D I did not want to confess ... finding myself stuck in a SD game, not to mention losing my screwdriver :P .... or was it screws...pfffffffffffffftttttttt!!!!!!! Anyway....thank you so much!!!!! Fortunately, I did not experience any Flash problems....ahem....however, somehow the grey matter stumbled into a loop .. a loop ... a loop...!!! lol!
@Juliet....don't give up hope :) There is an *exit* door which will lead you out into the sunlight :) Just1, and many other players, will lead you out :)
And last, but certainly not least.....THANK YOU THANK YOU SELF-DEFIANT FOR ANOTHER AWESOME GAME :)
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteOh....an addendum re: Flash issues many players experienced: I just received the Adobe 11.3.300.257 update and I always play using IE. I do not know if that makes a differencem but thought it deserved a mention :) Of course, SD probably corrected any issues before I played :)
ReplyDeleteso sorry...but...it is NOT the browser, it is NOT the flash...It is the game....sorry SD....crashes every time and I have tried everything!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect, I don't think it is the game. I think it is one of the advertisements on the web page.
ReplyDeleteFirst time I tried to play, browser window had to close and reopen (is this what you guys are calling a crash?). It reopened with different ads, and I played from beginning to end with no problems. I refreshed the page and played from beginning to end again with no problems. And then I refreshed the page and played all over again with no problems, finally earning a gold medal. :)
I've had this same browser close and reopen problem happen a couple times on Kongregate in the past couple days too. Both Melting-Mindz and Kongregate use similar ad servers that match ads to your browsing activity.
I am pretty sure it is Adblock!(LOL..they finally found a way to make us see the ads!!!)
ReplyDeleteThere is no adblock on my IE browser...although, I did crash earlier in that one too, I think the upgrade may have helped....
Anyway...I finally finished the game in IE...without adblock and no crashes!
And yes, @unknown....they were crashes...the screen froze up...then a little plug-in piece is there saying....flash just crashed....along with a "send crash report" option!!!lolol
Okay, I'm playing at 16.55 in england, and I turned off updates ages ago, so I use old firefox and old flash. I never get updates.
ReplyDeleteI also use adblock and if a game requires that I disable that, it can go and whistle - I won't be interested in playing.
I can't use the yizzim site, or gameso, due to other small-system-related issues.
Despite all that, my game has crashed five times so far with "no report available", but I probably disabled that somewhere along the line.
With so many people saying that it happens in some other games and other browsers, I'm convinced Selfdefiant is in the clear - he must be as perplexed as we are.....?
It's flash which is crashing. The game is fantasic! [Thank you, Selfdefiant!]
I'm appalled that this game has been given such a low rating because of a problem which is probably completely unrelated to the game itself, but then, when so many eg24 users will vote a game low simply because they never learned to speak japanese themselves, I can't say I'm surprised.

irishenigma, pass me another strawberry, please - I've brought the bowl of whipped cream ;)
I subtract 2 points for pixel hunts, I rate it 3 stars and assume flash crashes are not the fault of this game. Also don't like the suddenly appearing up direction at the green fan (navigation options should NEVER change, they might say blocked or something, but they should NEVER change.)
ReplyDeleteI always use Chrome, and it isn't crashing for me. I know there was a bug that made the screen flash but that was fixed a while ago. I didn't do anything strange in this one to make it crash. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteTo Tiquer:
ReplyDeleteWhat pixel hunt? Your cursor should change when you over over anything clickable - as in all except the very oldest Selfdefiant games.
Also you won't have an up arrow at the fan until you have turned it off in order to give you that access!
I've seen you about here before, so if you even read this, you should know better ;)
I use FF, got crash twice...please fix it SD...
ReplyDeletei played the nice SD game without any problem & for just1 ur walkthru is superb:)
ReplyDeleteWell I cant find the gold key, clicking every where in the drawer and nothing (left bottom also)the cursor dosent help becouse is the same shape every where.
ReplyDeleteI really love SD games but Im getting frustrated with that drawer.....HELP PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteThe card is in the drawer, the key is on the back of the card.
ReplyDeleteTo yiyis:
ReplyDeleteThe key is not in the drawer. "just1"'s excellent walkthrough explains that the gold key is
on the back of the card which you get from the drawer
Eek! I underestimated your sneakiness!
ReplyDeleteYou posted that while I was typing.
And, in case you need to know, I'm still getting flash crashes, although I've been trying every day to actually finish this one ;)
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteUpdate to players: Adobe Flash 11.3.300.262 for Firefox was released today, replacing the buggy, aforementioned 11.3.300.257 release, so I decided to install it. I then replayed Selfdefiant's game and finished it, without any crashes. (Thank you SD and thanks for the walkthrough, @just1.)By the way, there hasn't been any crashes on other sites either.
ReplyDeletei beat it and it didnt even crash once
ReplyDeletehow do you get down stairs and can u lot tell me from the begginings please?
ReplyDeletefinal code:
ReplyDelete59734
HOW DO U ENTER THE FINAL CODE IN? im confused.
ReplyDeletenevermind. i figured it out.
