anyone else here?

i am but im stuck !

I am here, hi Philomena, but i am already stuck with a horn i can take off and put back.

also in. managed to turn the light on and off and found a color clue

found a clue for mask on wall, got green bell
remove horn to get color code
replace horn for light, use bells on scale for yellow bell

i dont have a clue what the colour clue is about ?

i am but dont understand jp

red bell in corner third scene

Red bell is left of piano machine

red & green on left plate balances scale to open center door

cant get the green weight/bell

okay, button on floor near mask gives crystal? and color code for piano thingie

Where is green bell?

and now I am stuck

How did you get yellow bell ? I tried everything with scale.

green bell is inside mask's mouth. Clue to open in in right side of cupboard

2 hard for me :)

Ahh door was already open, put yellow weight on the right side for middle door.

yellow you get by placing green on left scale -- left door will open

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 9:48 AM

Make left side of scale heavier to open left door. (Use green weight)

Then click button on bottom for another colour code.

And i got an arrow thing from this button.

you can place that crystal (?) on the mask after you take the horn...

replace horn with crystal then I activated machine next to crack pressing 12345 LOL I think

kind of looks like a spear head or something, but now you've caught up, Please help me?? I suck at piano clues

Then hotn goes onto the piano thing.

I'm feeling dense.. where do I get the clue for the mask-like thing? (left-right)

Stuck on piano as well...

Put the mask like thing on the gravestone with signs and then click the ears of the real mask like this.

mhtyhr that clue is in the cabinet under the scale

Tried adding no's 2,5,6,5,3,1,4,8. Anyone figured it out yet?

Thanks Zazie!

1-8 (horn now used) but no idea what it did LOL

okay, are we supposed to determine which color is the eighth note? or are we supposed to play the colors in the order shown?

Mistake in the colours floor clue LOL Mhtyhr numbers are 25673148

After the 8th click the piano does something and on the colour code is written an 8. so we have to find out which key on piano is which colour ? and combing it with paper clue.

Maybe?

no matter the order, I get a puff of air for playing four notes, so there must be an order related to the colors

I did see no 7 key in the numbers

I have to play 8 notes before the puff comes. are the numbers on code different ?

maybe another cup of coffee...

Greetings L&G!
My supposed piano theory:
- find out weights from lightest to heaviest (or vice-versa) & number them according to paper hint (1-2-4-5). If 2 colours from floor button, add colour numbers.
The piano practice: No go yet (which is the heaviest/lightest & which order, starting or ending with 8?)...
:-/
Weight is always making me troubles & still only have little winds here...!
;-P

@premiere,
I worked it out to be, from lightest to heaviest:
Red, Blue, Yellow, Green..

Tried the combo, didn't seem to work yet

That's what I came up with, too, mhtyhr

So do we need all 8 clicks ?

@Zazie,
I would only get the puff of air after pressing 8 notes...
so does seem like we need all 8 clicks.

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:19 AM

Ditto here, mhtyhr,
tried a lot of combos, all kinds of back & forth, but still not the right one...

I was trying out the theory that if we look at the angle of the lines on the piece of paper, Yellow should be 1, Blue = 5, Green = 4 and Red = 2.. but that didn't work either

I also tried lots of combos from left to right and vice versa....nothing.
I added the two half colour stripes like the note says so : 25653148 and 84135652 starting on both sides but nope.

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:25 AM

For the piano, look at the colors. Note that some of the bars leading up to 8 have 2 colors. For those, you add the numbers of the colors. Single color equals that number. Once you have all the numbers (1 to 8) turn it on its side (8 on the right) and push the piano buttons in order from 1 to 8.

the note really has me confused now

ty, szarra, but I'm still confused -- or blonde

reversed ordered, added, multiplied, used weight order.... LOL and the list goes on...

how did you number the colors? light to heavy?

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:28 AM

The order for piano code, if you think of the buttons from left to right being 1-8, push 76421358. Explanation is that red weight is 1, it's in position 7 so you push 7 first, etc.

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:28 AM

I got red=1, blue=2, yellow=4 and green=5.
So the key numbering for me was 54637218.

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:30 AM

Red = lightest, so 1
Blue = lighter than anything but red, so 2
Yellow = 4
Green = 5

Bar with blue and green = blue + green so 7

Don't say you're all stuck? Well, I've just got the piano.
I will spill the beans in 2 minutes =D

@szarra, but this is exactly what i did. But it doesn´t work.

Aaaah thanks Szarra!!
It's the "there's 2 ways to press the number" sort of thing.. we were looking at it from a different perspective (i.e first press 5, then 4, etc)

Damn, Sarsmi just beat me to it. Yes you have to assign the weights (in units, kilograms, lbs or whatever) to the numbers shown in the clue. Double colors in 3D clue in floor hole mean SUMS of numbers.

aaaaah LOL

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:33 AM

Zazie - You might have to "reset" the piano. Try hitting a key until a puff of air comes out, then try the combo.

The horn code is not the order in which to press the buttons, but when each button relative to the horn shape should be pressed. e.g. the last button on the right should be hit last because it is 8, the one right before it should be hit first because it is 1.

Oh thx sarsmi, this worked....i did not pay attention to the weights :(

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:36 AM

Oh, man, it's the other way round (always walking right into a trap at those puzzles)...!
Thx, Sarsmi,
for the enlightenment!
;-D

And out just in time, i must eat ....Thx all for the help.

not sure what kind of end I got, but out after getting cutter...

Alright L&G
It's almost 2am here and I have work tomorrow :)

Am really happy that i could catch a live one with you guys. thanks, and have a good week ahead

       Anonymous  7/29/12, 10:38 AM

I can't tell if I got a bad end or if it's one of those "preview to the next game" kind of endings. lol

out...WHAT?

I'm not out yet. That doesn't look like a good ending.

Got that cutter-type-of-guy which after pagefuls of Japanese, got me a cutter knife.
I've now got access to the door outside, but I'm not sure if the elevator is to be used that way.

These unspectacular black-on-white screens coming with a restart button really don't mean anything good (normally)

Hmm, replayed from my save game up to this point. Damn you guys seem right, this *IS* a "to be continued" one! So Gatamari brought us a cliffhanger which does not tell us what will happen after entering the elevator until "Gate Escape 2"!

Someone Get Me A Headache Remedy - Through

I had lots of trouble with this one, which just shows how much I've come to rely on @Premiere's WTs! To save others grief, I will attempt a WT now. I'll put in italics things that I didn't see mentioned in the Comments (notice I said "I didn't see" - they may be there all the same!)

-- Go left to the odd machine and cracked wall and click on the floor to the lower left of the machine. Take the Red weight.
-- Left again and take the, um, the Odd Item from the lower right cabinet.
-- Left to the Tombstone with all the symbols.
-- Highlight the Tombstone and select the Odd Item and place it on the Tombstone. I had to click on the diamond at the top of the Tombstone to place the Odd Item.
-- Look at the left and right arrow hints from top to bottom.
-- Go left twice and zoom on the "head" on the wall. Notice that it looks a lot like the Odd Item.
-- Click on the left and right pink ears in the order from the Tombstone and take the Green Weight from the tongue.

-- After wiping your hands, go right 2X, back to the scale. Place the Green Weight on the left pan. It is heavier than the Blue Weight and it opens the left side of the cabinet.
-- Take the Yellow Weight.

-- Now you must do two things: balance the scales and also order the weights from lightest to heaviest. You can't remove the Blue Weight, but you can add/subtract the other 3 weights from either side to get the correct order.
Balancing the scale opens the middle cabinet door to reveal a button you can press.

-- After pressing the button, go back to the scary head on the wall and notice that the button on the floor has popped up. Zoom on it and take the Spike and note the Color Pattern beneath it. I found it helpful to make a screenshot of the pattern so I didn't have to draw it or keep going back to look at it.
-- Click on the head again and take the Horn from it's forehead.
A light will shine where the Horn was and the room lights will go out. Go around the room to see that the light is shining on the crack in the wall above the machine. Take the Clue from the crack.
-- Go back to the head and, rather than replacing the Horn, put the Spike in its place. (Either one will hide the lamp and turn the room lights back on, but you will need the Horn).

-- Go back to the machine and place the Horn on the tube above the keyboard.
Notice that you can press eight keys in any order and a puff of smoke will come out of the tube and Horn.

To Be Continued!

SGMAHR -Through, part II

-- Now, put on your Thinking Caps.
Take what you know about the order of the Weights and use the Clue from the wall to number each color. The lightest
Weight
will be number 1, followed by 2, 4, and 5. Notice that none of the colors = 3.

-- Look at the Color Pattern from the floor. There are seven bars with colors and one final bar labeled "8".
Give each bar a number based on the color. If there are two colors, convert the colors to numbers and take the sum for that bar. For example, a bar with colors that correspond to 2 and 4 would = 6.

-- Looking at the Keyboard on the machine, number the keys from 1 to 8, left to right. Each bar on the color chart represents a key on the Keyboard, according to the color/number combination. For example, the bar with Color =1 will represent the #1 key (farthest left).

-- Just to complicate things further, each bar is also numbered according to its position on the Color Chart. The lowest bar (all Green) is bar #1, and the highest color bar (Red) is bar #7.
Numbers for Color bars from lowest (Green) to highest (Red) on the Color Chart:
5, 4, 6 (B+Y=2+4), 3 (R+B), 7 (B+G), 2, 1.

-- Now it's time to play the Keyboard.
Start with the bar with Color=1 and Position = Key #
Continue until colors 1 - 7 are pressed and finally press Key #8.
(Solution is below!)
When you get the sequence right, musical notes will flow from the
Horn.

-- Go to the Cutter sign on the floor. It should be pulsing with a green light. Click on it and someone appears.

-- Go to the door that is tied with rope, and click on the Cutter Figure.
-- Watch the cut scene, then take the Durenda 1 Cutter and go through a bit more conversation.
-- Click the green arrow to go through the door, where you'll have another cut scene and finally YOU'RE OUT!

SPOILERS

Order to click pink ears for Green Weight: rrlrrlll

To balance the scale: R + G = Y + B

Order for weights, lightest to heaviest: R< B< Y< G

Color numbers: R=1, B=2, Y=4, G=5.

Numbers for Color bars from lowest (Green) to highest (Red) on the Color Chart:
5, 4, 6 (B+Y=2+4), 3 (R+B), 7 (B+G), 2, 1.

Keyboard: The first key to press should = color #1 (R). Color #1 is in position #7, so the first key pressed is key #7. The order for the keys is thus:
7, 6, 4, 2, 1, 3, 5, 8.

Another way to say this is R, B, B+R, Y, G, B+Y, B+G, then key 8.

LOL & many thanks, zoz,
for your great WT!
8-D
Hope, I won't have weighty nightmares...!
;-D

Great WT, zoz!

Just one thing though...
.

-- Click the green arrow to go through the door, where you'll have another cut scene and finally YOU'RE OUT!

.

Well, when I played it I had to follow the arrows on the elevator and press open. It didn't work automagically...

@arbeitslooser, the first time through I clicked the arrows and the Open button, but when writing the wt I just waited and it scanned up and opened by itself.
and thanks for the kind words!
