I couldn't see colour hint either, but was lucky to guess it on second try. Didn't see any order hint for the 3 digit code either I assumed left to right but it was random.
may be theory behind drawer code 857 is first you put tea from teapot (8) in cup (5) & then yu will enjoy your tea on armchair (7).....LOL
Maybe color hint was on the poorly painted pillow? Well, at least I made it out :)
