Anyone else playing? My laptop won't take the CD even though I fixed the fuse.

You have to close the socket with screws before it works (the socket which you opened with SD)

Its closed (although I have no idea where the screws are) and the CD still won't go in.
I had to use SD again on the holes...without having screws.

Tried that but it wouldn't do anything. Maybe a bug - I'll try refreshing.
am i supposed to take the screws out the tool box because they are not budging ??

Did you put the yellow string on the back of the fuse before putting it back into socket ?

Must be an AWFUL lot of people playing now as I've refreshed 8 times and I still can't get back into the game! Keeps loading to about the 'M' and then just sitting there.

Any hints for any of the number cabinets? I can't find anything. Have CD, paperclip (straightened) and fuse panel.
One number (2012)comes from paper in printer after putting CD, one from a paper in book in drawer (502 if i remember right) and the 3rd i can´t remember.

Go to the kitchen (through the door in the bedroom) and get the wire from the bottom left cupboard. that fixes the fuse
I got the orange wire from the kitchen, but I can't move it out of my inventory.

Where do I use straightened paperclip - if I get rid of that, I can probably grab wire.

Open the orange wire and use the pliers to strip it so you get a copper wire. Then open the fuse, turn it around and put the copper wire into it

I understand, but I cannot grab the wire in my inventory, I've tried everything. I can move the straightened paperclip directly below it though, and I think they are so close that the pixels are overlapped. If someone could just tell me where to use the straightened paperclip so I could get rid of that, I think it would be ok.

dont think you can use paperclip till the very end im sure..you need to do other things first
The paperclip only gets used right at the end, it is the last thing you use.
Oh I was stuck for ages with just a repaired wire, only saw two views and didn't realise I could just walk into the bedroom. Was searching for numbers for drawers for a key!

Never found where to use the coin - gave up in despair!
@MaryD: you don't "use" the coin... only open it in inventory to find the number... for kitchen

I agree with @granmaj that screw driver in the middle of the socket part I would have never gotten without help.

first get tools from black cabinet in start scene.
then use s/d on panel by door.
use wire strippers, then tape, then replace panel.
use s/d again on panel.
go left to bedroom.
click door to go to computer room.
get "printer disc" next to red book on desk.
get fuse from wall socket.
get paper clip from trash.
click door to go to kitchen.
open bottom left cabinet and use wire strippers.
use wire in fuse.
click bottom of screen to return to bedroom.
use fuse on socket, click right edge of computer.
insert cd and close. wait for "completed task".
click paper in printer take finished paper, note #
ue # on bed side drawer for file, remove sticker.
use sticker # on other bedroom drawer for piggy.
use hammer on piggy, get coin.
look at date on coin, use in kitchen cabinet.
get "clock/box", use straightened clip.
get key.

i cant find the computer In the WT saids to go to the bedroom, cant find it , went back to the comp.room, how do I put the disc in help please

u must click on the white bar on the right edge of keyboard. click on laptop to zoom in.
a cd drawer will pop out.
