Caila Raven and the Ancient Scroll is another point and click adventure game developed by Esklavos. Finally Caila managed to enter to the temple of the Order of Mages. That was a sudden ending..
I'm stuck, I got 3 colored sparks but no clue what to do with them, can't go to the classroom and can't pick up anything else or join anything
Live one?
I used the spells from the book on the staff, and all of a sudden, that was it.
Got three powders some tools and a cup.....stuck
Was also able to remove some bricks and place a piece of the painting in before but...
Staff gets larger if you click it on scroll. Not sure what order to click on symbols.
ok I'm out too I guess, could have been good if it wasn't 2 seconds long

The order of the symbols comes from the black book.

Hello everyone :) Caila Raven has been a fun series and I cannot believe I am up this late...well, it is only 11:42 PST...lol!!!!! The lengths I go to to catch a live game :/ Aw well, going in ... :)
Burned coloured powder into sparks, don't know what to do next?
Also from book, yellow page, stained red, blue flashes, white magic, mean anything?
Yellow pages (book), Stained Red (floor), blue flashes (picture) and white magic (staircase). Placed sparks accordingly, will get another part of painting.
I think I did something wrong. I clicked on the symbols on the staff for levitate...and poof "to be continued". Surely that wasn't supposed to happen???
Alright, DON'T use the staff on the scroll. If you put in the levitate spell it will end the game prematurely. However, you can complete the game normally as long as you refrain from this. You end up going to the classroom and then you have to make some more stuff.
For anyone who gets there, I never ended up using the bag for anything (as far as I remember) so I either missed something optional, or it was put there for no reason. Dunno, but if you get held up on it, you don't need it to finish the game.
The scraper gives you the red powder when used on the blood stain, the white powder comes from the wheat flour when the book under the stairs is destroyed and the blue powder is on the floor by the ghost. I think the yellow powder comes from the plant but I can't get it
No. the yellow powder is from combining the cup (from talking to the ghost) and the rasp (bottom left where the mage is)
One piece of picture is by the mage when you move the book, one appears in a similar place when the sparks are set right. Two other pieces are by the ghost, one on the bookshelf and the other on the floor after the sparks are set
Got the flower using the scissors and put it into the bowl. Looking for something to wet the flower with so that I can crush it
when the lever is down, the water drop in the library. But I cant take it
The lever makes drips in the library, you gotta be quick to get them.
combined the water, flower, pestle and mortar then put it into the flask. Put fulled flask on Caila in the classroom and levitated the rabbit. To be continued
for the drips, just click on them with nothing selected from the inventory

I pushed the lever several times and there isn't even one drip anywhere in the library? What am I missing?
Where the ghost was, just underneath the floor. That is where the water drips

I usually manage to figure these games out....but I am totally lost here! Finally, by random clicks and some clues in comments, I have the sparks!
Where is the clue to set them in the right place??? People say "when you get it right" but I don't find any clues how to do it!
I also need to know how to set the sparks "right"
just kept clicking the sparks to different locations until they worked, one in each location.
four sparks, each with six possible locations...way too many combos to brute force...must be a clue somewhere
aha...click the books around the room and she tells you 'the floor was stained red' and 'a painting with blue flashes'...that's two of the locations...

tried once and got the buggy end by using levitation symbols, tried twice and restored the painting, but can't enter the library...i can go up and click on candle, plant, books etc after the librarian leaves, but can't move to the right...not trying a third time!!!
The other two are "Book with yellow pages" and "staircase with white magic"!
OK in classroom now....and again, I have no idea what to do here!
Oh, silly me, I was using the bowl to get the drips....don't need it, no wonder it didn't work!

And...it is just so much easier than it seemed! LOL....The clicking the right thing and with the right combo is the key! All you do is check book for the 3 runes to levitate, put book away, click the staff, and then the hand
Then click the correct symbols, voila! levitating rabbit, then the scroll has disappeared!
@Pats Fan....you don't go right from the library, the classroom is upstairs, and you can pass after the ghost is gone!
Walkthrough anyone?? I'm stuck at the first screen.
Walkthrough
Talk to the mage
Take the RASP on the bottom left (underground but you are magic)
Go down to the basement (library)
Speak to the ghost twice. Once to find out his problem and the other time to get a GOBLET from his whinging.
Take the MORTAR and SPATULA from the bookcase.
Take the BLUE DUST from by the ghost's feet. Destroy the book under the stairs and take the WHITE DUST (damn vandal).
Go back to the mage and use the spatula on the blood stain to get the RED DUST.
Use the rasp on the goblet to get the YELLOW DUST
Go back downstairs
Put the dust into the candle to get sparks. Look at the books that are scattered around for where those sparks must go and scoot them to those positions.
Part of the painting will appear under Caila's feet and another part appears in the bookcase.
Go back to the useless mage upstairs.
Underground and a bit in front of where Caila's feet are is a piece of the painting. Just next to it is a lose brick which has another piece of the painting in it (it falls out and hovers magically just above where the + is in your inventory)
Go back down stairs and fix the painting for the vain ghost and he will go away which will now let you into the classroom.
Go up to the mage and then go right.
After the teacher has finished lecturing, take the BOWL and the Flask from the desk. Take the SCISSORS from underground on the right and look at the note next to it.
Behind the teacher is a lever, pull it
Go left and then down to the library where the ghost was and click on the WATER drops. Be quick as they don't drip for long and you will have to go back and forward pulling levers and such until you can catch some - don't have anything highlighted in your inventory. Apparently catching water in bowls is too mainstream for this game.
Take the scissors and get the subterranean FLOWER under the bookcase.
Combine flower + bowl then water + bowl then mortar + bowl and lastly bowl + flask.
Go upstairs to the classroom where the rabbit is.
Give the flask of flower-water to Cailia (she is at the back of the line).
The teacher will now talk some more.
Look at the black book in your inventory note the the levitation spell. Haul out the staff and push the symbols in the right order.
Bunny goes up, mage comes in and talks ..... to be continued
@RSA Momma Cyndi...oh thank you so much for your excellent WT :) I have endured more trials and tribulations whilst attempting to finish this game it is both pathetic and funny....ROFL!!!!!! Of course, playing games into the wee hours of the morning diminishes brain function but I could not seem to control the "click...click...click" of the mouse and clicked on those pesky adverts 6 times!!!!!! I don't know...that must have been a record, at least somewhere in the world...aahahahhaahha!!!!! After some sleep I will once again work at finishing this game...unless I am truly stuck...cannot get out...etc., etc., I will not peek at your WT...but I am so happy you were thoughtful enough to take the time to help and, of course, carry on the tradition of our EG24 site.... *EGDAWT* (every game deserves a walk-through* :D
