anyone here? Picked up lots of stuff, used knife on apple and turned it yellow, put dog left side of man. not sure what to do now?

Using google translate..the sign left of door says "It is written nemesis and (co.) The one on the right says "It is written with the armory" .
If you click to the right side of the bookcase, there's a sign (indecipherable to me) which causes a reaction when you give it to the man.
Tried everything on the man. Also tried everything on the dog. (Knife on apple cuts it in half, by the way.) Even tried reloading and just getting and giving the things that made him 'happy'. No good.

btw when u use any of the items on him the other items disappear but u can still use them .. just drag it n the item would appear on screen .. dunno if this helps anyway !!

Press "Q" to defeat the guy. In the speech "たおして" which implies to press Japanese character "た". This is the "Q" in English keyboard.
