You have to go back and speak to people a lot! Talking to the head in your inventory helps too

Go to the second scene get past the blocked path with Chie and get into the witche's house.. talk to her , adjust her clock and get the location of the clover..

For the clock you have to need the clover. Keep speaking to the wannabe witch. You will need the stick from the first (or second scene?) to do the last bit of the clock
no one mentioned we should use the book first !!

Where's that book you guys all talking about? In the little witch's room? I would be surprised, since there is always the same message when you click on any of the (many) books...
AHH! Went into the witch's "study" again, and she told me (without getting asked first) that she found a four-leaf clover, but wants something in return!
Before doing this step, the book (the right of which you have to search on your own) won't be accessible...
...and now I'm in the balloon!

I pretty much guarantee that it didn't need the first part loading so long that I made a pot of tea!
I also wanted the painter to come with. Her picture of the flight would have been worth seeing.
Please do not try to save this game, because there is no way you can get back to the game....
