Clomb up and look through window

Use holy water on mixer
Use chest with soil on mixer
Tip mixer and watch the ending :)
SOLUTIONS:
Desk: open drawers number 3 (lower left), 4 (upper right) and 6 (lower right). Then open middle drawer

Clock: Pull left and right string twice, pull middle string once

But why are there instructions in the machine (after passing the gargoyle) wich you can't reach or read? It's not a very logical step to put the Sheriff's star in a machine...Did I overlook something to make them readable?
Sometimes reading comments can cause you to look for something that doesn't exist...there was no Screwdriver...it was a pair of shears simply called 'a tool' by the author (at least in my game it was)

The game has been changed after a few days already:
The screwdriver became a pair of shears, there is a page extra in the book with hints, and the game is shortened a bit (a game-in-game disapeared)...
But I still miss a readable hint for the machine
(after passing the gargoyle)
I cant find the SD
