Found a key behind a book on shelf..and it doesnt work on padlock. ..and i cant go anywhere else that i can find..other than clock which needs four digit number.

ooops...my bad..you can go to a different view (down). Key works on blue chest padlock for axe.

Back to first view. Whack the red chest with the axe, and it moves to reveal a switch which lights lamp in second view...which when you knock the shade off...gives a key...which opens red chest..which reveals four digit number...which..doesnt work on clock. What now, Charlie, please?

First put note together, drag it to the middle of the screen

I had a heck of a time getting the game to load as well. It eventually worked.

I had to try 3 times @evans, before i finally got the red X which allows the actual game to load.
