Evil Asylum
Evil Asylum is a new escape created by Selfdefiant for Melting-Mindz.com. The asylum has been called evil since the day it opened its doors in 1865. When it was finally closed down in 1977 it had seen its fair share of evil. The patients weren't the only ones who were crazy, once someone entered the gate they would never be the same. Now it's up to you to go inside and rid the asylum of the evil that lurks inside. Good luck and have fun! Play This Game

I am stuck, someone help! I have used red, purple and silver key and know I need the clue for the drawer in C to open safe and need glasses to get that clue, but can't get into the rooms Y and Z...what am I missing?
you need green key in K (hint roman number in drawer C) and open door in Y
I understand I need the key, but don't I need the glasses to read the clue for the drawer? I could cheat and use the hints here to open the safe, but I don't want to do that...
I can not open the book D. What do I do?

@robert, in C there are 2 drawers to open
you need hint glasses only to open box in one drawer
but in 2nd drawer you can read hint roman numbers

@Self Defiant--the only thing I'm really not liking is after you purchase the crystal ball to transport, you can no longer write on the map. Wonder if there's a way you could change it? I realize the issues . . :) THANK YOU for another great game!!

Can't find the book in D - very frustrating. All I see is a brown book third shelf down far right

Tring-a-ling - start by going left, then right, then left. You are in K, right?
Jeff - the book in D is not at the right - it's more to the left, but not all the way left, and about halfway down. It's more of a rusty color than a true red...

Nope. left-26, right-9, left-29 isn't working. Please put me out of my misery.
I was getting mixed up with left/right on the lock. Don't look at the arrows, but imagine your hand is on the dial turning it.
After you to to 26 on the left, you don't move just nine places, but move to the actual 9 on the dial...then go back to the actual 29, not just 29 places...does that make any sense??
I'm already out but I remember it being right, left, right the same as all locks.

And I was at that spot when this was posted - followed those directions, and I got the safe open.....hmmm. Oh well, I'm not ready to re-play it at this point.
I'm doing EVERYTHING I've been told - and I've been playing these games for years so know what i'm supposed to do but it's not working! It's getting towards midnight in England so I have to go to bed soon. Maybe it will all work out tomorrow and
the penny will drop....

I hate to say this, but I just went back in to the game and it worked for me. I used the arrow that is pointing left (west on a compass) first for 26, then the right pointing arrow (east) for the 9, and then the left pointing one for the 29.
BTW - I am using Chrome, if that matters.
Right....still haven't gone to bed, and watched the walkthrough and now have the green key...feeling bemused and puzzled and looking forward to continuing tomorrow. Thank you so much for sticking with me and helping X

I have a bug in my game. The valves are stuck with the 2nd one at 15 and the 3rd at 20. The first one will move, but the other 2 are jammed solid. I am NOT restarting at this point so will just give up. Good game up to then.
This one got five stars from me. Really the best in a long while. We were able to buy the crystal ball early----a major plus. And we just "picked up" the orbs. Loved it, SD!
