He's been named "Bill Whinery" because all he ever does is whine about everything. Never has had anything good to say in any game - only negative things.
I think SD has taken the game down so he can fix the things that went wrong. In every single one of his games, if something goes wrong, he fixes it. So what if he had a couple of problems with this one - at least he listens to us and fixes things. I'm hoping he does not take these criticisms to heart and stops making these great, GREAT games!

Zoe, I've seen this guy's comments before, and I really think he has BIG problem. Especially with the comments that he writes about Selfdefiant's games, I can't help but thinking that he might be a competitive game maker and he just can't accept the success that melding mindz has...
About the game, I tryed to load and finish it, but it doesn't work at all. I'm sure the creator is fixing it.

Nice, although I think that the "spelling error" was a major (though untypical) flop. I actually had the (right) sollution but couldn't advance and got really frustrated trying to figure it out, before I finally read the WT ... :)

I'm still not getting a game. I tried Firefox (which has adblock) and Safari (which does not) and neither are running the game. Just a white screen. The ad will play on Safari, but no game.

Well, I got all the way to the end and my yellow gem is not click-able. I put every other gem in their spot and I am just a sitting duck b/c my yellow gem is stuck in the inventory. Boo.
I have read through the hints and the w/t, but haven't seen a clue about how to light the deer antlers. Stuck.

same as Emily, link worked, but was stuck with yellow gem.
My workaround was to pick up yellow gem last and then place it without putting into inventory. It disappeared when placed in holder, but I was able to escape after placing other gems. Shew!
SD, fun game as always, I liked not having to find orbs for a change (although very fond of the rollover method that was introduced a few games ago). Also enjoyed the last letter of color puzzle, knew the words had to relate to the color box, was fun to figure that one out.
So glad you continue to make games for us all to enjoy! ...my landscape would be empty if you were gone... (song lyric, sorry to be cheezy, lol)

you fixed the sorrow sarrow box but now I can't place the yellow gem in it's spot because I can't take it out of the inventory box
Finally I could pick the yellow gem, placed it, but not visible on the wall after, but could get out. Great game, despite the little trouble at the end. I got an autorun alert after refreshing the game from my antivirus, blocked it.
sorry SD yellow gem is still not working after reloading game 3 times still nothing.

shame about the yellow gem.. also piano took about 6 goes to work. otherwise good game.
I tried again today (after being unable to place the yellow gem), but a new bug has appeared . . . The direction box flips open, but it is empty. Drat!
I went back and tried to play after the yellow gem fix. It wouldn't pick up my old game, so I started over. This time the direction box was empty when I opened it. I restarted it and tried again, but same thing. Drat!
Finally played it at the alternate link, it was a great game ! Thx SD !!
I had two bugs, the yellow gem disappeared, it did not go into the wall panel but it said : you placed the yellow gem...And my arrow box was empty. But i made it out :-)
It's gone midnight here so I'll have a nice treat tomorrow.
Can I just say how much I appreciate that Self Defiant keeps watch on this page to make sure that we all get a game to enjoy.

I love these games..had a problem with the Yellow gem it I did manage to get pick it up form our boxes on the bottom but as i tried to place it in the yellow shop on the wall it disappeared i was not able to finish. Also the link on the top...play black manner will not work it takes me to the page melting mindz with this note Super Sneaky Spy Guy thinks something is wrong!!!

I dont usually post in live forums but i really love all the sneaky games and melting mindz..and thank you everyone for all the walk through notes i could not find the white gem then i realized there was another room to the right..then got it.. thank you again

I played the game again from the beginning and, I started a new game and lo and behold the yellow gem is sitting on the floor in room "A" not in the arrow box. After placing it on the wall it completely disappeared. but I was allowed to exit the game normally.
This game was buggy.
For example, when I opened the arrow box it was empty...
arrow box didn't give a gem!! so stuck...:-(

Excellent. The arrow box confused me until I looked at comments saying the yellow gem was in it. My yellow gem was just on the floor somewhere.

Well finally got in to play! Poor Self Defiant must be grey haired by now after all those server problems LOL! Thanx again for a SUPER game! I was rather confused with the arrow box, because there was nothing in it, and yet everyone who commented said they got their yellow gem there. I could have sworn I got my yellow gem somewhere else, but can't remember where. Anyway, I could at least pick my yellow gem up at the end, but once placed, it disappeared. Fortunately the game must have accepted it as being placed, because I could escape. Thanx for all the clues on DEW YEN END, because that threw me completely!
SD, thanx SOOOO much for always being there for us, and providing us with such awesome games! Please ignore the regular moaner-groaner, Bill Chinery, whom insists on pointing out the miserable negatives in EVERYTHING, and therefore showing us all what a miserable, negative person he must be in real life.
Als, the red gem was in the stair scene, with the colour clue. There's a hotspot in the doorway, click on that for a white button and then click on the button. It should open a panel with the red gem.
Finally in, after trying 3 days to access the game. I hope it deserves that

I'm a day late so no bugs, and this has to be one of my favorites ever--love this game! (I needed hints for the last but not least clue, but it's perfect)
you don't have to sit here hatin', ya know. you can just roll on to some other game.
but here, the developer checks comments for bugs that are found, and you haters just don't understand how responsible that is. SD could just toss these games out and forget about them. how much did *YOU* pay to play?????

Seems that I'm the only one that has problems with the candle ABCD.. thing. Could someone please explain it? I have seen the hint, my combination is AEBCDEA and then F (???), seen the hint on the wallpaper, tried to light the candles in that order, but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
escapism: there is a hint on a wall to the right of the first scene (don't remember exactly which room) for the candles, but I'll try to explain:
Start at the top, then the candle to the top right, then the candle to the top left, then the candle to the bottom right, and last the candle to the bottom left.
Thanks Zoe!! I was (again) thinking too complicated, thought the hint in the room with the many chairs was for the order of the candles...

I can not understand why people are so negative and so envious of the success of others. SD is an example of dedication to your audience. If an error occurred in the game, who does not make mistakes? I play all his games and that was the first time something went wrong, but this is not the end of the world. SD, continue to make our days happier with their brilliant ideas and amazing games. Big hug to everyone. Here in Brazil is very dear SD, I guarantee.
Thanks everyone, I get going to fast some times and try to get the game out for people to play. I always try to fix anything that's wrong, even the little things. I don't mind that people feel they need to be negative. I've heard it all and none of it bothers me. I just keep moving forward.

Awesome game and great attitude SD. I bet none of the people who grizzle have the talent to make games like yours. All they can do is complain, people like SD actually create things to give others joy. A much better philosophy of life.

The clue for the colours on the box was majorly obscure. I BFd it, and only then did I figure out what the clue meant.
Tried to play the game, had an error. Copied link into web bar it worked at first but then it redirected to a different website. Selfdefiant, I think there may be a problem with the site.
