I usually need help with these, but I'll give it a go.

I'm glad you said it was a painting. I thought it was a window and I wouldn't have thought to try to move it.

That was shorter than I expected.

Is there more than one ending?

Two endings. Once you put the gift in the stocking, you can leave. The two ends are whether you free your friend or not.

I don't understand what to do with the star hint behind the painting.... anyone here?

So, I was frustrated and i clicked the tree box until it opened... LOL

@Nokra....Stars behind the painting when it falls, are the beginning of the sequence with those in the wall to the box with green and red buttons
