Stuck with key and stick
I have a key that won't go anywhere, a code that won't open the drawer, a plugged-in guitar that won't do anything and a note that I thought worked with the guitar.
Getting bored - I hate it when a key won't go in any of the obvious keyholes.
The key goes into the keyhole in the second room..
I am out, The stick is used on the violin and the first code also comes from violin + the 2 letters spread in the rooms.

Dont know how to open the piano to enter the clue from the picture above bed
Finally got my code to open the drawer and now have a bow.
4 digit number from tuba is for phone, 2nd paper ist for e- guitar but later, you need the plektron first.

Pink key opens drawer in 2nd room, gives hammer.
At the end you have to use the two rattles on each instrument and then hammer.
Stuck with the pick for the guitar.. Had the stick, played the violin to get the key, opened the room, got the pick from the piano code..

what to do with 5 digit code from guitar?
I have to admit I was stubborn .... I refused to use the violin-bow on the violin. Used it on everything else first. Got my key now.

I'm horribly stuck with a guitar pick and no idea what to do with it (besides the obvious of using it on the guitar somehow)
Sorry fdbbd, I will replay, for me the hints Zazie gave were good enough, but I realise that doesn't mean it's that way for everybody else, one mom. ....
How do you use the pick?
Great Musical Room Escape Walkthrough:
Spoilers below.
Room 1 (with telephone).
note H-5 on the couch, click on the buttons of the largest english horn, get a PAPER. Dial the telephone with the number on the paper = PURPLE KEY.Note back of the violin: KH094.

Turn right. Room 2 (with drums).
Plug in the E.guitar and click the switch. Zoom out. Note K-8 on the wall (left).
Combine with hints in the first room and open the drawer = VIOLIN-BOW.
Room 1.
Play the violin = YELLOW KEY. Back to room 2.
Open the third room with this key.
Room 3.
Open second grey drawer with purple key = HAMMER. Note the spots for 6 music symbols in upper drawer.
Click the mirror 7 times, a keyboard appears. Note the pattern in which the pianokeys are played..
Click on the piano in room 2 and start playing! (Click on the part closest to blue drums) = GUITAR PLECTRUM.
Back to room 1.
Click the smallest english horn, get another PAPER
With this paper start picking the guitar. Be patient, a bit pixely = a NUMBER.
Room 3.
Put number in the brown drawer = MARACAS.
Use the maracas on every instrument, hot spots will appear. Hit those with the hammer and you get the SYMBOLS for the grey drawer in third room. (Use them on the middle english horn).
You don't need to hit the exact spot, just zoom in on the instrument and drag the hammer to it.
Placing the symbols = GREY KEY.
Start singing on your way out !!!

Room 1. Piece of paper = code 6490.
Room 2. Open drawer = 85094.
Room 3. Pianokeys = fis e b cis (low) g cis (high)
Room 1. Guitarplaying = acb, bacd, cdba = 20493

What hasn't been explained well is that you have to click on plectrum (red bit for guitar) and put it over guitar. Don't worry what note lights up as long as you take it over the note you want 'a' and then let go of your mouse key. The note 'a' will be played. Then pick it up again from inventory and put it over note c before releasing mouse. The note c will be played. Continue like this for the entire set of notes, one by one, and eventually you will get the code number for drawer in bedroom. As for the maracas you need to shake them on each instrument to reveal place to hit with hammer. Hope this helps!
Great walkthrough Arrie, although I too found the earlier clues helpful. Still, some people are more used to these sorts of games than others, so your walkthrough will be a great help!
