Awww can't find the stairs that the force field turned off! How disappointing!

REading on a Russian site, someone found a piano but doesn't know the notes to play. Anyone find a piano? I think I have the notes!

In the games room there are pictures on the wall, cartoon pictures.

First - 2 blue birds (like angry birds)
second - 1 pink owl
third - pink and green snakes with 2 hearts
fourth - 2 caterpillars (green/blue and red/orange)
fifth - a smiling flower

Beside them is a black square and what looks like a picture of a person

Used 963 (found on another site) on picture beside stairwell on 2 F (access from pool) got a paper that says

30 degree E (right facing arrow) 60 degree E (left facing arrow) 75 degree N (down arrow) 0 degree S (up arrow)

And a number, 1717

1717 removes the force field from the stairs leading up from 2F to 3F

Hope I get some new areas this time!

found music room and piano but don't know how to play!

found the panel to use the degree code. Not sure how to.

found the auditorium!

opened first code from auditorium for blue spade key

found a blue and yellow shape key and another beaker

THANK YOU Just1 for the second auditorium code!

DARN thought I had the piano figured out but nothing happened :(

Better go and leave this for now.

Back for more punishment! Anyone hear the music being played when you press the red light above the door in the hall on 1F? Then see the notes written?

We have a piano and I can pick notes by ear, so I figured out what to play. To me it sounds exactly like what is playing.

The piano on 3F has 10 white keys that can be played. I am playing the following (numbering the keys 1-10 starting on left)

5762
5675
7562
2675

This doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone else try?

Found my 963 on the back of a paper that I have in inventory.

I have two papers that are blue and white. They seem to be pieces of the same larger puzzle

I started over in normal mode putting the puzzle piece in a 1 hand picture (can't remember which one) and got a totally different game. This one is labeled as "A" in the save menu.

Found lots and lots of things, with help from the Girls.
Random thoughts:
I think the grid pattern on the TV may be related to the 180 degree E and W chart?
The spade key worked on the 2F door (where the sleeping girl was).
I managed to get back to the starting classroom, still with my puzzle piece in inventory. I placed it in the 3 hand pic, and got a green clover key (haven't found where to use it yet) and the backwards 2014. Can't take back the puzzle piece.
Got into the library, but can't get to the room where the missing blue book is.

Most interesting find so far: Put the battery in the black hole below the buttons on the elevator, then click on the elevator doors for completely new scenes on each floor. Beginning to explore the floors now.

Whew!

Hi zoz!

I actually got a clue that reads

30 degree E (right arrow) 60 degree E (left arrow) 75 degree N (down arrow) 0 degree S (up arrow) that I think goes with the 180 degree E W chart, but who knows.

I placed my battery in a passage way in a back alley and got a new hall and a shape key. Now I can't take the battery back.

I have the blue book but can't get into the library!

2014 worked to turn off the force field for one of the stairwells (on computer in office) but I haven't been able to access that stairwell yet

Oh, and Ga is the symbol for Gallium, atomic number 31.

On the keypad with A + B +C = 3 +3+1, if you put numbers in and click on the white dots below you get the same symbols as the ones in the original game (Crescent, Mountains, sun, etc).

For future players: when you get a piece of paper that has Cobalt Chloride on it, dip it in the pool and a k= number will appear. Mine was k=19, so when I entered the value of Pi in the keypad that read k=?, I had to enter 19 decimals after the 3.

gotta go feed my cat b/c he won't get off my keyboard!

Zoz I thought about gallium but no idea where I would use 31

Also, with the A+B+C=

there are also spots below each symbol for 12 more numbers. No clue what to do there

Stuck big-time here. I can't use the 1717 code because I can't get to the picture where you put 963, so I can't get to the piano,*SIGH*. I think I'll try again tomorrow with a fresh mind (or, as fresh as a zoz-mind gets, anyway).
I'm glad you're playing this, too, Jo-Ann! I never would have found the piano tune and sol-la-si-sol, etc since I've had the volume very low.
Anyway, imho, these are the best of the best games. We just need more minds to pitch in!

Well, my old 'puter did crash, and I lost every one of those games I was running but I learned something. To load a saved game, select the 3rd option on the start screen. Also, when you save, use another slot besides the one the autosave goes into. Otherwise if you start a new game then try to load, you'll find it's already autosaved there. And if you play different versons, use different slots for each.

I got lucky, now - I used the 1st picture, came to the card door, and }whew{ it's an ace that's lit. I entered Jo-Ann's code and now I'll try to catch up.

Btw that song Jo-Ann sang is used on doorbells and churches all over the U.S. You hear it on grandfather clocks too, when they chime the hour.

Somehow, after leaving the room with the angel statue, I got to the smoky hallway with my 4 girls (I picked up pink-hair and little-blue-hair at the pool room, and purple-hair in the elevator. Pink hair gave me all the iterations of pi.) One click sent me into a long cut scene with lots of dialog to click through. It seems an unconscious girl can be seen out the window. Red-eyed girl showed up and we lived through another earthquake but afterwards were in the same place. Now my pink-hair looks real mad, hopefully not at me.

Back in the original room, put my puzzle piece in the 2-hand print. Got the same as everybody else, green key and 2014 backwards.

Got into the break room, now have a battery and used 2014 to free one of the staircases. Game's starting to look finishable now, but I wish I knew where that card code comes from...

Why do I get kicked back to page 1 when I publish a comment? Didn't used to happen.

Anyway, walked into the rec room and another long cut scene. Foxygirl showed up and apparently split us into 2 groups. Now pink, purple and little blue are off somewhere else and I'm in a new location with foxy and my original blue. Never got to explore the rec room.

Found a balcony! There's a picture here with a codepad. 463 (from shelves in chemistry room) and 963 (stolen from these comments) don't work on it.

Found the rec room again, it's right off the pool. Now I have second blue/white tile with 963 on it (upside down of course).

May be a place for a battery next to the kids' art above the pool table but I'm saving mine for the elevator

963 works on that pic, now that I've seen the clue - got 1717 now, and degrees clue

Well I can't get into the elevator for some reason but I freed another staircase and made it to the auditorium

LOL I said there were only 4 symbols on the chairs - well it was true when I did it before! Anyway, the same principles apply - this one's arranged such that reading right to left across the rows gives you the sequence to go down

went through a pair of green double doors and found an inactive panel w/ 4 #s and four buttons that say 'do'. This may be where to enter the music

Yes! the music room is just beyond that door. Already forgot whether I opened it with the green or the blue key.

I'm buffaloed by the degrees puzzle - have directions, but starting from what point? or points?

need heart key to get into a door next to the green doors

I'm wishing I'd collected the stats on all the girls when I had them - I'm thinking the numbers we can read are telling us birthdate, age, height and weight - in other words we know their astrological signs

Made it back to the elevator, through the angel room again. Of course you can't get in if it's on a different floor! No way to call it. So there was another cutscene, now there's a hole in the floor.

Well I didn't yet find any benefit from putting the battery in the elevator. Went to B2, then you can go through the hole; there's a purple key down there. I tried to pick it up, the game went into a cut scene and ended. Less Ending #5.

Lots of very pretty animation at the end, if you appreciate computer-generated nature art. Takes about 10 min. to watch it all. Now I've got a score of 684 and 10% completion. It's forgotten my previous Other Ending #1. Must have lost it when I crashed.

It's about time to crash, that is, gotobed, but I'm going to start in again first...

Started back on 2F, in the elevator, hole in the floor, but I still have my battery. Hmmmm.....

battery doesn't fit in water cooler

just got into the library w/ my blue key

nope the battery doesn't go into that slot in rec room

on pool table, following the red balls as an arrow - black, pink, blue, white. Again may be different in another game, and I don't know what it's for

Well I went outside, put my battery in the Leo door, moved wall, went through, found black tile, came back, had to move door again to get back in, found room for black tile and it's an office with nothing in it. Pffft. It'll add to my completion percentage, I guess....

I can take the tile back, too

and yes, apparently they have to match colors with what they open

must sleep

goodnight

I'll find that heart key tomorrow if it kills me!

hi, I can't find Cobalt Chloride paper :(
have 3 keys - with green clover, with brown/orange clover and spades
I'm trying play on the piano, but nothing

I got into B1 using zoz's battery trick and found Other Ending #3 - guess I drowned us all.

Hi @grzegania, I found that paper early on and can't remember where. I can't get anything from piano either. Or the code pad outside the music room.

Do you remember where you got brown key?

On B2 go through elevator doors to parking garage!

(I saved a game where I still have the battery, just in case)

hi just1 - I'm not so sure, but maybe brown key was in the little office in 1F, on the top of bookstand - black puzzle opened this room
but brown key is useless in that moment

in other game I saw that brown key probably will open one of the door in Parking - but now I can't go to Parking, I used battery in dark passage with trash bins

if you put the colored puzzle on code pad outside the music room, you'll see the numbers - i think that we must choose corresponding note, but don't know which colors should be

From Jo-Ann, on the previous page:

the paper I got was from 1F. I asked the girls to open the door by the libra door

It's the room second down from the elevator. Don't get the girls to open it for you - it has 2 doors and one's already unlocked!

looks like I need the battery to get the brown key then - went there earlier but found nothing in that room. Now my battery's in the elevator and I found some new places but am still stuck

There's 2 possibilities for that color code - test tubes in the chemistry room, and balls on the pool table. I'm going to try that now.

So you need the battery to get the brown key, then you can't get to the garage. If you use it to get to the garage, you can't get the brown key. Hm, must be another battery somewhere.

I'll have to revert to my other saved game to try it, but I think it'll be pool table colors. The white key is in the door at the pool after pinkhair opens it. The black one's outside and you have to place the battery to get it. I think I got both pink and blue from the auditorium. Also have a yellow one.
Also, my pink shape with a single tab reads '7'. The rest, with the more complicated shape, are all '1's.

I put black-pink-blue-white in the codepad and got 6713. No reaction when I added sol-si-la-re. Going to see now if that number will free the last staircase

my girls don't want to help anymore
maybe it's time to start another game... in other window I'm playing game with battery in elevator, but stuck too

6713 no good for staircase. I remember at least 2 other 4-# codepads from the freshman game put haven't been able to get to those places. Interesting tidbit: when I removed my colored chits from the music codepad, the numbers disappeared but the sol-si-la-re stayed fixed.

Now I gtg, cul8r, good luck!

If this thing ever loads I will play it. So far been 2hours and several refreshes.

tip for the future: don't use the girls on every door you can't open. Make sure there's not some other way in to that room first! I'm wondering if I start from the beginning again, and play more carefully, will I be able to get more doors open? Maybe I'll try that tomorrow.

Nuckelhedd Jones - google chrome loading without any problems

Waited 2 hours for this to load and it is horrible. No translations

replay saved game and in the billard room girls come back, in loooong conversation have to choose right option - and now I have the floor plans

now This game deserves a walkthrough lol .. well somehow i lost my saved games .. so it's time to really give up playing it .. too bad it is in chinese anyway .. Good Luck everyone !

Cannot read japanese, do not wish to allow you to store stuff on my pc, 1 star

made a little progress on the TV puzzle - you can move the grids around, click on one and you get four options, which are:

up down
left right

we're supposed to make a picture I think; can't see any letters or numbers in it. Now trying to find clue

lol iconland every time you play a game you get stuff stored on your pc

I'm not as wild about this game as zoz is, the long dialogue scenes drive me near-bananas, I think Skutnik's are better, but this is definitely an exceptional game and I intend to beat it sooner or later. I played a SelfDefiant game yesterday and it was like eating baby food. This one's stimulating the hell outta my frontal lobes. And I'm thrilled that we've gotten this far in it, with no translations!

The stars on this site don't mean a thing, and this game's a case in point. I gave it 5, but so what? Averaged out with iconland that makes 3. LOL, get over yourselves, you great and wise dispensers of stars.

Oh and it's Chinese. They live in a different place and eat different food

lol @just1 -"They live in a different place and eat different food".
btw, you can get the stats for the Girls from one of the score pages, or maybe it's the page where your game outcomes are. Anyway, the are accessible.
I tried a few more tacks today and got NOWHERE. I had high hopes for a game I started with a puzzle piece in the 1 Hand pic by the Sagittarius door, but the Card code pad had "9" lit up. I spent a long time trying to solve/bf that particular code a couple of days ago, so I gave up. I guess I just have to keep starting over until I can get an Ace lit up. I wonder if the tic tac toe puzzle on the blackboard in one of the classrooms could be a clue? btw, the pattern is different every time.
There's always tomorrow.

hi zoz - I started a new game too, an 'A' game, and got lucky again. Just got to the pool room a few minutes ago, and the ace was lit. It bugs me that Jo-Ann's magic code seems to be the only way to progress here. But I get stuck in every other direction so far.

I already tried everything I could think of w/ the tictactoe, btw.

Hey, I got an A game with an Ace lit, too! Maybe we can actually follow each other???

I just noticed that when you click on the red wheel in the pool scene, you get a cutscene with a girl falling in the pool. And I remember going through the door in the B2 garage with the same wheel on it and drowning in the pool. Whatever that's worth, lol.

Hi again, I uncovered one worthy find: this time when I got to the rec room, after the dialogue I selected the right option, and the plans are in my inventory, and my party was never split up. (Foxygirl didn't join us.) However they're all worthless at getting me into any more doors, and I haven't found a paperclip yet! Got all the way to the drowning end, but there's no hole in the floor yet. Back tomorrow for more torture. n8yn8!

hi all :) just1 - if you have plans, you could move the pictures in the billard room now - if you place them correctly, under the black picture you'll find white puzzle to door in pool

Somebody table degrees ltso draw on the board right? Or A + B + C decided?

@grzegania - nice find! I've been trying it but the order eludes me. Does it go by the balls on the table or something else? Having trouble relating pics to colors. Pls leave tip & thanks! I'll be back this evening

@Bhecbr312 as far as I know, noone has solved either of those puzzles - keep swimming!

combination of pictures is different in every game, so I can't help you, I was trying all combinations and one was correct

my was:
flower, caterpillars, birds, snakes, owl

It is killing me that I don't have time to play right now!

When I was in the rec room I chose the left option. Wish I could have done the right option!

Glad some people are still playing. Can't wait to find some time!

Shhh shouldn't be playing but have a few minutes, don't tell anyone!

In the hallway by the elevator on 3 F there is a code panel with 2 black squares. My shape keys fit in there as well. Problem is all my shape keys are 1 or 2 digit numbers when I place them out side the music room. This panel needs 5 digits.

my shape keys are almost all double digits so I can't make a 4 digit code from them. Also, where ever you leave the do, sol, re, button and remove the shape key, the word stays. So no idea what the right combo is.

My shape colors and numbers are as follows (in case anyone has the same as I do)

grey - 1
pink - 8
yellow- 9
black - 13
white - 15
blue - 16

my billiard balls are (from top to bottom) white, blue, grey, black

that order gives me a 7 digit number. No where to put it

Looking at the first set of slo, si la re and using their positions on the piano, that color order would be black, blue white grey (according to my numbers of the shape keys)

This game is extremely intricate. The story changes depending on the order in which you do things. This time I picked up Purple girl first (at the elevator), then found my way to the pool room, where I think we rescued Pink from drowning. (Little Blue was there too, but maybe too little to pull her out?). But then, before going to the rec room, I went to the smoky hallway, where something bad happens that makes Pink mad at me, and she won't help me anymore. So I never got the lecture on pi from her (haven't found the k paper yet either), and she never helped me into the shape-key door off the pool room. Now grzegania tells us that you can get that same piece from the pic puzzle! Also, though I met Foxy, she didn't join us, and she somehow makes the hole in the elevator floor. So there's probably another way to do that! I'm starting to wonder how they kept it down to only 12 or 13 endings.

Lucky again! My combination for pics is the same as grzegania's. And I already have the 963 clue. Forward!

(But why? Caterpillar eats flower, then is eaten by bird, who is eaten by snake, who is eaten by owl? Or did the owl sleep through it all? Not sure.)

Wow! I walked into the Pisces door off the pool with my new shape key, and Purple got sucked off into a swirly red vortex! Pink looks like she's ready to bite through knives.

Got my 1717 and degrees clue now (yes, those are different in every game). Onward through the fog!

dammit, the tictactoe should be the clue for the cards, but it just doesn't match up! Also can't get anywhere with the x=y clue, which I'm pretty sure is supposed to be a Fibonacci sequence, but one of the numbers is wrong.

Doggone and dashdang it, Pink just tried to help me with the degrees puzzle, and I can't understand a word of it. But maybe she's not mad at me after all.

Boy, am really wondering if I should start a new game so I can use the info to get farther but am worried that I won't get that ace lit up!

Again, no time to play but keep checking in for new developments!

Hey, all! Being a complete glutton for punishment, with essentially no life, I'm back at it. I had a lot of dead ends today, but finally settled on a One Hand (I think) game where I've made some headway.
-- Got an Ace (yay!) and also managed to choose the RIGHT option in the rec room
-- got the 963 code (@grzegania's hint worked for me - I think you're right @just1 about who eats what)
-- from the 963, got the 1717 code and the clue paper for the degrees puzzle, which I really can't decipher.
-- I've found that, to get through the door in the alley by the trash bags, you DON'T need to use battery, the green clover key opens it.
-- clover key also unlocks Chimes Door
-- From another game, I discovered that, IF you enter the computer room through the door where the key pad is (the one you access by breaking the mirror in the 4Bath) then you can click on top of the bookcase (I think still in the room with the keypad) and you get a Purple key to complete the set of six.
-- Once you've placed all six keys to get green lights, they are activated and you can take them out and use them to open other doors - e.g. the blue bath beside the 4 bath (aka 3Bath) and the red door beside the 5 Bath (aka 6Bath). Then you'll have 4 of the 5 lights on the panel by the Fire Exit doors green, and 4 taps running water.
-- Unfortunately, I still haven't found a way into the bathrooms in the game I'm currently playing, so I can't get to the keypad, so I can't get the Purple key or any of the others.
-- If you enter the computer room through the Black door, then when you find that classroom with the bookcase where the Purple key was, you get the Brown Clover key instead.
-- leaving the rec room through the Black door, the Blue and Pink Girls will open the classroom door so you can get the missing Blue book and a Grey Shape.
-- I managed to get the Blue book to the library and all that, but all I accomplished was getting a Yellow shape.

[Sorry if I'm just telling you stuff you already know, but someone else may not]

btw, I completely understand why the game is called The Rosefinch CURSE!

Gee zoz, that last tip worked! I thought I'd tried every means of opening that door. Also, besides the book, there was another girl in there, but we didn't take her.
That yellow piece gets you into another room somewhere. I'm off to find it now

It's on 2F outside the elevator

nothing I can do in there, lol

I'm thinking I need to get either the degrees chart or the TV puzzle to progress further here - I'm tempted to go back to another game with the bathrooms now, using zoz's tips. But I've gotten the farthest yet in this one...

btw you do need the battery in that slot to make the wall move, and get the black piece (which also opens up an apparently useless room). Also where you find the black piece there's a gate, which I got to from the other side in the bathrooms game (was that C or D?), by going through the Fire Exit door. In that game, Little Blue was there by herself, and I couldn't get into the pool room.

Oh, one other minor find - you can dip water from the pool, and it's a different shade of blue than the tap water. Just sayin'

well you can't bf the k= codebox apparently; I just entered the 1st 20 digits of pi and deleted them one by one - nothing worked. Gotta find that paper! I think it was in the same room with the paper clip, hmmm...

working theory about the grids on the TV:

I-IV across the top should give you 4 numbers. I'm thinking you get them by combining 2 grids, I + II going down. and the unmarked row at the bottom is for discards.

well I found 3 pairs that have no red dots in common, but can't find a 4th. Also, they're not suggesting any definite letters or numbers. So my theory may well be hogwash. Anyway, g'nite for now

lol, just1, I also tried to BF the k= # using the first 20 digits of Pi and deleting one by one. Great minds think alike! Maybe even not so great minds!
I also played with the tv grids for a bit today and yesterday and got no where. My fear is that it is supposed to represent Chinese characters. The first Dream House had translations, so maybe this one will soon, too.
Since we seem to be thinking alike, I should warn you that combining Pool water with Yellow liquid causes a big Boom and yet another "Other Ending".
Sweet dreams...

Found an important clue I think. Open a D game (3 handprints), follow zoz's instructions above, 7/5, 6:05 pm, get into the #6 bathroom downstairs. Clue on wall reads (for me):

3# = EDC = 676869 (ASCII)

67, 68, 69 are codes for C, D, and E on the ASCII table. I can't tell you why the letters are backwards, but I remember a codepad which needs 2-digit numbers, and for me the letters CTA have showed up in conversations twice.

Also found a pretty piece of paper (?) that says 5% on the back. In 3Bath.

I'm truly a glutton for punishment - I started a new game since I used my battery in that game to get the Gallium paper. I wanted to see if the battery would fit on the 6-# code panel in the computer room. It doesn't. It remains inactive, so I can't test my ASCII theory on it.
I did discover, though, that even the colors of those keys are randomized in this game, and the 5% paper I mentioned now says 4$; in other words the numbers are paired w/ symbols as they are on our keyboards.

That code paper activates the keypad!

And I'm stuck again. CTA as ASCII codes doesn't work on the 6-# keypad; 4$ doesn't work any of the 5 places I can enter 4 numbers. And I had such high hopes. But now it's time to sleep. Perhaps inspiration will strike again tomorrow.

Hi :) just1 - I played this game as you and I can help you
you have 5% - look in keyboard what letters are below - on the wall we have 3# and EDC, so 5% are TGB, now should convert them in ASCII translator - TGB = 84 71 66 - but in example on the wall this numbers are reversed, so your code is 66 71 84

yesterday I started new game and finaly find the cobalt chloride paper :D it was in classroom right door next to the black room - girls opened it to me
opened k= panel and find blue bottle 3# - now I'm mixing potions - Yellow liquid + water from Lab Room gives me light yellow liquid describes 9, Blue liquid + water from Lab Room = green describes 5 - light yellow + green = light green 14
so I think that we must mixing liquid with number exactly like the number on bottle in Lab Room - my is 19#

wow I did it :) we must have 3 beaker
yellow + water = light yellow 9
blue + water = green 5
green + light yellow = light green 14
green + light green = orange 16
and then orange + blue = black 19
put the black liquid in bootle and now I have new number 18#

TY @grzegania! So simple, and I was so close to it but not seeing.

And when you come out that door, in the D game, you get the cutscene w/ the girl outside the window, at least you do if you have Little Blue with you. (Just have the 2 Blue girls so far.) I guess the game's designed so that that scene has to happen at some point.

congrats @grzegania - I'm distantly trailing behind you now - in 1 game I had 4 beakers but in this one don't have any yet

if you have 2 girls in inventory, click on the taurus door, you'll find code to room on 2F

Continuing, if you have Little Blue with you when you click on the Taurus door downstairs, she can look through the keyhole or something, and see the number which opens the room just above it, which is the original room, so you can get the green clover key. I think the number's the same in every game: 0807

lol, didn't refresh first - now I'm trying to get further, and can't find anything to open w/ the clover key

18# combination:
yellow + blue = dark blue 10
dark blue + green = pink 12
pink + blue = purple 18
put the 18# liquid in bootle and now I have yellow puzzle

hmm maybe Clover Key open Fire Exit Door ? I don't remember

Wow, @grzegania and @just1 you two ROCK! I played a while yesterday, thinking I would get as far as I could in a 1hand game, save it before trying the battery in different places. I got far enough to see that, in my case, the battery in the elevator didn't do much, and then I accidentally (stupidly!) saved the game over the one I had saved prior to placing the battery. So I got disgusted with myself and quit for the night.
But now, with all your new information, I'm going to start again!

2 things I haven't seen mentioned here:
The White shape will fit in the space under the Libra symbol on the floor in one of the classrooms. The Cancer door that is locked, will take two yellow shapes and the keypad is active, but I don't recall if it was active before I placed the shapes.
So far, none of my shapes have numbers on them - I haven't been able to turn the over. How are you getting numbers???

I translated Chinese comments below the game and find the answer, how to open the door with degrees puzzle on 3F
my hint and puzzle, maybe could help someone ;)
http://imgupload.pl/images/81152887959856853216.jpg

hi zoz :) yes - the keypad in Cancer Door was active before place puzzles

just opening the game to play for abit this morning and find some break throughs! Yay! Will try and add something to this...crossing my fingers!

Have a few questions though.

@gregania how do you get numbers from mixing the liquids?
Also, I see your degrees puzzle but don't get it yet. Any further help?

@zoz, the shapes have numbers associated with them when you place them in the panel outside the music room. Mine don't flip over either.

Ok, going in to try and make some progress

POP see the number in the characters below! Never noticed that before!

oh boy, trying to get the liquids but keep blowing myself up!

ok, even though my number is the same (19 in lab) I blow up if I mix green and light green.

@ grzegania did you get it completely through trial and error?

hi Yo-Ann - if you correctly mixing some liquid you'll see number at the bottom of the game
in degrees puzzle we must select area which is describes on paper hint - one row has 30 degrees, one column has 15 degrees

I can make light green (14) but then keep blowing up after that.

Will have to try some other combinations.

made pink from light green (14)+dark blue (3)= 17

Pink (17)+ water (2) = black (19)

Now what?

hmm maybe in each game are different value to liquid? don't know why you blow up, and - yes - mixing potion took me few minutes :D

I think the yellow liquid and water are the ones that change. My water = 2 and my yellow = 7

so do I need a special bottle for the black liquid?

so now put the 19# liquid in bottle next to sink

Haha tried that a few times but was placing it in the dark square! Now I have 18. Off to mix some more and hopefully NOT blow up!

Yay! did it and now have a second yellow shape piece!

I don't think I have any location for that second yellow piece. :(

Now to try and figure out the degrees. What did you get from that puzzle?

opened new room where was another colored puzzle, and another door in this room leads to the little hall

What floor Grzegania? What puzzle?

I answered your question - degrees puzzle open new room on 3F

I thought I understood the degree puzzle but can't make it work. My code is

30 E --> 60 E <-- 75 N (downarrow) 0 S (up arrow)

so I thought my area to color was the 30 and 60 block east of 0 and down 5 blocks (75 degrees)

@grzegania you're a grzgenius! I messed around awhile and finally got the degrees puzzle now, though I don't really understand the up-down part. My clue was 150W right, 120W left, 15S down, 30S up. Only one square was lit for the solution, I think on the upper dotted line. I kinda bruteforced it cause I knew which column I should be on.

I'm curious how you made that screenshot, grzegania - my puzzle disappeared as soon as I got it right.

It's the geography room. There's a shape-key in here that's different from all the others so far. It fits at the bottom of the 'middle' pieces. Get 3 shapes of the same color, it makes a rectangle.

I see that grzegania has totally different pieces in her inventory. (I kept trying to click on her image, to see what's on her 2nd page, lol.) She has a yellow and a grey one that I haven't seen. I have 2 blue, 2 pink, 1 yellow (in this B game I reverted to so I could get to the degrees puzzle!)

this game is the exact opposite of 'easy peasy'

Yo-Ann try this
http://imgupload.pl/images/20030077252006667547.jpg

@Jo-Ann I think you want the single column that's between 30 and 60 - such was my case

Thanks Grzegania, I tried that but nothing. I tried that block (2 over, 5 down) all the way up and down the 30-60 E area with no luck

POP, got it! single column!

All that for a single shape?! lol

These are my shapes that I have. I am calling the top piece the square with the tab on the bottom.

I have 2 top pieces, black and pink

3 middle pieces, yellow, blue and white

3 bottom pieces, yellow, blue and grey

They can all be placed together to make a rectangle but I thought I had to make one of one color

congrats Jo-Ann :)
good luck, I need a break now, my brain is burning :D

Thanks Grzegania, you helped so much!

OK, I'm clearly waaay behind you three. I've just managed to open the Virgo conference room (beside the iron gate on 3F) using the Green Clover key. Lots of puzzles there, got 3 x 3 piece shapes (Pink-pink-grey; all Cyan, all Yellow).

@JoAnn, I have never found the music room! Oh, my head aches.

Zoz for the conference room on 3F is that the room with some computers? I only found one shape piece there. Or do you mean the conference room on 2F?

Music room is on 3 F. Got to it when I entered the 1717 code into the computer on 2F

I'm on the 4th floor now, exploring...

Oh maybe you mean the other side of that iron gate on 3F? I am stuck on the opposite side then you!

Zoz! you are so lucky! I want to get to the 4th floor!

I am stuck with only 1F, 2F and 3F.

oh 2F, there is a 5 digit puzzle that only activates when you place two shapes in it. Any one play with that one at all?

Also, in the classroom on 1 F with the pi info on the board, there is a place for a puzzle piece. My white middle piece fits, but I can't seem to find anything that is activated when I place it there.

@zoz, lol, how'd you get over there? I've been trying to get through that gate in every game!

@JoAnn, is that the slot beneath the Libra sign on the floor? I did that yesterday, but never found anything activated.
I haven't even begun to find the Library, Auditorium, or any of those old standbys.
The way I got to 4F was by inactivating the block to the Up stairway with green walls using the 2014 code in the computer room. You can go up the stairs to 3F AND 4F. There is a gate preventing you from going up further than 4F, but I don't see a place for 5F on the map.
I'm playing a 3hand D game, btw. I still don't even know if I have an Ace or a Nine. I'm wondering now if the tv grid is somehow a key to that puzzle? Haven't got there yet, anyway.

I am still playing the first one hand puzzle.

I was able to activate a stairwell from 2F to 3F but up to 4 F is blocked with bars. Maybe the stairwells that get freed are random as well?

I think I got to the other side of the Iron gate by using the stairs after deactivating with the 2014 code.
Oh, and on 4 you'll find the #1 bath using the purple key. Only 2 framed photos in there. But now all five spots on my Fire Escape keypad are green. I just have no idea what the numbers should be!

You got there from the D game?! Well, I'll keep plugging away at that, then. In my B game there's a locked gate that blocks the way to 4F. btw the auditorium's right next to those stairs. Turn left, you see 5 Ms on the wall; it's to the right.

I only have the green clover key and the blue spade key. I played your version for awhile and know about the keys but couldn't get anywhere so came back to this version.

I used to codes to free 2 stairwells (2014 and 1717) my last stairwell remains locked but I think it is the stairwell that leads to B1

What?!?! All of a sudden my key works for the library? Could it be that I missed that for days? Gah!

K, in library for the first time since I played the freshman version. Have book too!

so disappointing. Got the top yellow piece. Now I can make a yellow rectangle but for what? The top yellow piece unlocked a room on 2F (another classroom) but all that is there is a square on the lecture podium with a red Aquarius sign. :(

@Jo-Ann, I previously took screen shots of all the floor maps I had in another game, and I can compare and see that the stairs I used today are at the upper right, above the Taurus door. Now I can't find a way back, so I may have to start a new game.

I have no stairs in the upper right. I have stairs in the upper left and a set at the bottom middle for 2 F and 1 F. They lead down from 1F but I need the code for the force field.

@Jo-Ann, I had the same letdown yesterday. All I can add is that the blocked trapdoor in the tictactoe room also has red Aquarius on it

@Just, yes, I hoped that by opening and seeing the symbol in that room that the trap door would somehow open. LOL

I think I understand the tictactoe clue. Shift every row down one, bottom row goes to top. Maybe it is the clue for cards after all. Just started a C game, so I'd have saved games for all 4 versions. Now to C if I can find the pool!

Not quite right - in my D game it's shifting columns to the left. But the same basic idea.

Good for you Just1!

I desperately want to find another 4 digit code to unlock the stairwell..... been locked on 3F, 2F, and 1F forever!

Interesting, my 9 shape key numbers are as follows

1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16.

keep hoping they will somehow give me a code

Got to leave for a while. Post lots of new stuff!
oh, @just1, the fact that the tictactoe is different every game, I think argues against that being a clue for the card keypad.

@Zoz, now that I think about it, I did unlock the same stairwells, but I can't access one of them.

ok, had enough. Will check in later.

Ignore my previous mad ramblings - in my A game I have a tictactoe clue that makes no sense at all!

Gosh, wish I could walk away but keep thinking.

These are the clues/puzzles I have that I have no clue how to solve

1. Need a 4 digit code for the stairwell. Guessing when I solve something, I will get the code. That is how the last two were found.

2. TV code. No idea there

3. Piano. Can press the keys in order of song played on 1F floor, but nothing happens.

4. 4 shape key lock outside music room. Can place shape keys which gives numbers of shapes. Can change the words to match the song.

5. Outside hall in 2F (above Cancer sign) can place 2 shape keys which activates a 5 digit code box. Thought that would get me into the room, but used a shape key on the other door to get in. Does that mean I don't need to solve this one anymore? Or will it reveal items and codes?

6. puzzle on blackboard (2F) that you can change but can't change back. I've stayed away from this one.

7. The aquarius trap door. Not a puzzle but not sure how to open it.

8. A+B+C= code. Can change shapes as well as numbers.

9. 6 digit code box beside blue door in computer room (2F) Can't change the numbers, something must be placed there. I think it was mentioned earlier what fits there but I don't have that item.

10. Can place white shape near floor under libra sign, but why?

11. all of the other doors that I can't open yet.

Am I missing anything?

Certain puzzles don't need to be solved, depending how you play the game. If you came in the door next to the 6-digit box from the other side, you don't need to open it then. As far as I know that only opens the door. Maybe only the D game needs that puzzle.
Likewise, if you get Pink to let you into the room off of the pool, she gives you the white shape key, and you don't need to do the flower-caterpillar etc. puzzle.

In the music room, btw, maybe irrelevant, but:

Bach-Beethoven-Brahms-Mahler-Liszt-Mendelssohn-not sure but I think Wagner-Schumann at the end. All Germans.
Brahms may have written the tune that became the clock-chiming song (sol-si-la-re etc.), but I don't remember for sure.

Got one of those wrong - the 6th from the left is not Mendelssohn but Haydn. 7th is not Wagner and I don't know who it is.

It's Schubert.

So, 3 of those guys are named Franz. Coincidence?

About the blackboard puzzle, the image that's partially filled in is already wrong! I've tried various things, mirror image, etc., haven't found what works yet. Just save your game right before you try it.

The tune I've always thought of as the "doorbell song" is called Westminster Quarters. There's disagreement as to who composed it, but it's believed to be based on a theme by Handel.

Playing with my chemistry set. Looking for 20#.

Blue(3) + lt. yellow(9) = gray(12)
gray + yellow = black(19)
so that's a quicker way to that number, but it's not what I'm looking for.

black + blue = BOOM!
gray (or even grey) + blue = BOOM!

I get 15 for pink (dk. blue + green). grzegania said 12, maybe by mistake.
Pink + green = BOOM! and I really thought I was going to get 20 that time. This is like playing blackjack with a card shark.

Okay I went and got some pool water just to see what I could see; somebody already told me that pool water + yellow = BOOM, but I needed to try it with blue, since I'm a g______ for p_________. :)
Yes, the result is BOOM. Probably the chlorine. Real life story: once I was working at a hotel, and I was told to mop a hallway. Somehow, noone had ever taught me how to mop; I mixed ammonia and bleach in the mop bucket and nearly killed everybody. Chlorine gas, i.e. chemical warfare! But I didn't mean it really.

lt. green + blue = pink (17) (like Jo-Ann's above)
pink + blue = BOOM! though it should add up to 20. Maybe you can't use the same ingredient twice.

dk. blue(10) + water = gray(12) again, so I think water's always 2.

Speculation confirmed. Make gray as above, then add water, should equal 14, goes BOOM. Make grey with lt. yellow + blue, then add water, get lt. green(14) as expected.

Finally made 20 by following grzegania's instructions for purple(18) and adding water

now have 16#...
grzegania already found it. It's orange.
but it goes BOOM! I thought that was funny; you have to add green twice.
I think she just misreported; it's water that you add to make orange.

I have gained one measly little yellow shape key, and much satisfaction.

Hi Just1 I blew myself up a lot making my liquids too all for a shape key. lol

I am not sure why I am here. Just looking at the puzzles again. No idea what to do.

Although I'm determined not to open this game again tonight/this morning, I couldn't resist checking comments for progress.

I must take a moment to say a HUGE Thank You with a deep bow to grzegania for coming up with the solutions for the 3#=EDC, and the degrees code pad and the chemical mixes! I think that "grzegenius" is a word we should all reserve for special (brilliant) minds (thanks for that word, @just1).

I have a couple of naive questions: I've found the code pad outside the Music Room, but I haven't cracked it. Do we have to get the black piece from the alley for that? I hate to use my battery if I don't absolutely have to.

How did you all get to the piano? It seems you reached the piano prior to completing the Music Room keypad.

I still haven't found the CoCl note in this game. When I enter the room where it was found in other games, that's where I find the missing Blue Book. As a result, no blue liquid for me. And where did the Green and the Pink liquids come from???

I also have failed to find the elevator floor door in this game.

I think that, if it weren't for these Girls' yammering our lives away with idle chitchat, we would save about 2 hours per game. Just sayin'.

Finally, the thing I love most about these games is the feeling of accomplishment to be had by successfully navigating the game. It's always a team effort (although my contributions are always quite small). It makes me marvel at the labyrinthine mind of T34.

lol @zoz, your contributions are immeasurable; I'm engaged in following you up to the 4th floor right now!
I can answer some of those questions. I'm pretty sure the blue spade key gets you into the music room. To get that you have to find the auditorium and solve the puzzles there.
You have to get the Blue #3 flask to do the chemistry. Grzegania at 7/7 6:04 am & 7:21 am gave the basic mixes. Tells you how to get green and pink. Actually there's 2 pinks. Jo-Ann found the other one @8:58 am and I added some details, 8:31 pm and 9:40 pm. Also note my discovery that you can't use the same ingredient directly twice!
I totally agree with you about the girls' talking so much. That's been my problem with schoolgirls ever since I was in school. I've found that you can mercifully speed things up just by clicking a lot, so the sentences jump to the end instead of coming out one character at a time.
Lol I'm one to talk about talking too much. I think this makes a record for posts by me in a single game. Seems like I can't shut up. But I am loving this.
Just got into the Virgo room. There's a puzzle in here where you install shape keys as numbers: () + () x () - () = 3 digits. There's a yellow square with a couple of 5s in it. More math torture! It hurts so good!

Indeed there's 9 shape keys in here, incl. all yellow and all blue. Maybe this means I don't need to find the library in this game? I surely need to find the music room, though, to get numbers associated w/ the shapes.

And there's a 6x7 color mixing table in here. zoz, I'm getting scared.
And last I checked, I'd only done about 12% of the game...

On the 4th floor there's 3 doors that need the heart key, and a Neptune door (funny; that's a planet) which I put my grey shape into and got - another baffling puzzle. I suppose the door won't open until I solve it. It has 2 fixed lines that read:

800068
XXMKNU
Below that, one fixed yellow dot and 5 changeable shapes.

Good night
sleep tight
don't let the bedbugs bite

:)

oh gosh, it seems like I am being left behind. I am so stuck, seems like I haven't made any progress in so long other then following grzegania and solving the chemistry and degree puzzle which only gained me two more shape keys. I haven't been able to get to the 4th floor or the two basement levels.

I remember the same thing happening in dream house. Tried desperately to play along but got stuck at one spot and left behind. I fear the same will happen here.

@Zoz, I am not sure if you need the black shape key to solve the puzzle outside the music room. That panel definitely gives you numbers for your shape keys. Not sure which ones are needed though. Or even if it is something that needs solving or if it just gives you information?

The green and pink liquids come from mixing. I needed the yellow liquid (found in the lab), water, and the blue liquid that you get from the k= puzzle. I am not sure where you can find the CoCl paper, sorry.

I desperately need a break through. I really want to find the code to turn off the last stairwell force field, or else a key to get me to the other side of 3F so I can access the 4th floor.

Going to go and stare at puzzles for a bit.

Oh, and btw, I haven't seen the girls in ages. Almost miss the long dialogue! Almost!

To get the taps running, click on the green dots so they light up. (D game.) If a running tap is X and the others are O, I have:

1: OOX
2: OXO
3: XOX
4: OXO
5: XOX
6: OXX

Yes I'm thinking that's what the tictactoe clue is for, but I still don't see how to make numbers out of it.

To add to Jo-Ann's list, there's the paintings in colored frames that show up in odd places (5 or 6 of them outside the auditorium), and the colored stars.

@Jo-Ann, to do what zoz and I are doing, open a D game, smash through the bathroom, collect all the keys as zoz instructed, go outside and meet Little Blue, get code for the Moon room so you can get the clover key and 2014, turn off the force field, and head upstairs! Like zoz, I haven't found out how to get to anything else BUT the bathrooms and the 4th floor. I did find more braintwisters though...

Some minor progress but no idea what it did.

For the panel outside the music room. In the music hint, there are 4 sets of 4 notes, 16 in total. If you number them from 1-16 then place any 4 of your shape keys in the panel, the number of the shape key shows up. If #1 shows up, then change the button to sol... the first note played. If the shape key is #4, then change the button to re. Etc.

Doesn't matter which shape keys you use, as long as you put in the right note.

What does it do? Not sure yet. The red light above the door that gave the notes in the first place is now green and I can't tell if the music is the same.

Piano is NOT the notes you hear but rather the green books from the library! There are 10 books and 10 keys to be played. Press the keys of the green books that are taller. OPens small closet in music room for.... wait for it.... another shape key.

Darn!

Something else I just noticed. All of the labs have a number in the top left chinese characters on 1 F and 2 F.

On 1 F I have labs 2, 3, 4 (can't get into one room that I am sure is lab 1)

On 2 F I have labs 1, 2, 3, 4

On 3 F I have 2 labs with no numbers.

Could this correspond to the tv puzzle in the angel room?

could it be the chairs? some up some down?

hi all :)
wow congrats Jo-Ann
I have good and bad news - good is that yesterday I started a new game B - and I opened the Music Room with the shape key
bad news - i don't know how it working but definitly it has something to sol, si, la, re on 1F, because now red dot above the door is green
link to screen, maybe could someone explain it :(
http://imgupload.pl/images/89616438784504065225.jpg

Hi Grzegania! I did the same with that panel. Not sure what it did other then that light is green now.

I am working on the tv puzzle in the angel room. It is definitely the chairs (red dots are chairs up) If you click on the square on the tv, then click below you can move it into position. Just working it out now. Not sure it will work because I can't get into lab 1 on 1 F.

so we one little step closer ;)
when I was in Music Room new girl appeared - she can open two doors with some kind of electrical keypad - on 1F next to Libra Room and on 2F to Angel Room

Grrrr, it won't let me solve it until I get into lab 1 on 1 F.
Go into all 4 labs on 1 F and 2 F. Note the lab # and floor. Then note where the chairs are up. YOu can only see part of the room so you have to guess which grid is for which room based on what you can see.

Then, to move the grid, click on it. The top left option moves the grid up. bottom left moves the grid to the left. Top right moves the grid down and bottom right moves it right.

All that work and I can't do it! Acckk!

I didn't get a new girl :(

ups this girl opened another one room - on 2F Leo Room, next to blue door to Computers Room

I have been in all of those rooms except the one on 1 F next to the libra room. is it a lab?

she has blue hair and the glasses

I can't get the game to load (sobbing uncontrollably). Will I be forced to actually do some of the chores I've been putting off??? No! I will keep trying to load the game, like the Rosefinch Curse Maniac I have become!

yes, it's a Lab 1

I have only had 2 girls for the longest time. One has blue hair and blue eyes (9/20 and 14 yrs old) The other has dark blue hair and purple eyes. (12/23 and 23 yrs old) Since this older one joined me, I have had no conversations with girls and no more hints. Maybe because I chose the left option in hte games room?

Oh Zoz! Not chores!

Oh Grzegania, I am so jealous, I need to get into lab 1!

hi zoz - lol :D we already have DDAA Dream House Addicts Anonymous and now RCMA Rosefinch Curse Maniacs Association
