I just noticed something I never saw before - there's a door in the swimming pool! Just opposite the door that opens w/ the moon key. So there must be a way to drain the pool! Did you ever find that, zoz? Don't remember it from your wt, but it might be there...

@just1, you get the paper clip in the first room you go to (3F lab with microscopes) in the B line (clicking on the 1 Hand picture by the Mask on the wall.

Okay, I just got into the rec room from outside, in the E line, w/ Jenny and Suzie. Haven't seen Sally yet, and Lisa doesn't appear. The explosion is heard when Jenny finds the map. Then you solve the pic puzzle to get the piece for the door, go in, and noone dies! So maybe it's only safe to go find Sally now. No idea where Lisa is though...and I haven't yet met the 4th girl (Granny) in any scenario.

I think I'm doing the best ever in this E line; got 2 stairwells open now, just got to the art room on 3F. Haven't found a way to the elevator yet, but there's still many possibilities I haven't exhausted... in other words, no longer feeling 'stuck'...

I'll have to pick it up again at this point tomorrow! GL all!

Oh crap! I decided to start a new game in a different line but didn't do it right and erased my game! Bah!

btw, I can't count how many times I saved a game I didn't want on top of a game I did want, thereby losing the game I wanted. (That sentence makes me feel as though I'm in a "paralleled" place; but then, who's to say I'm not???)

@Jo-Ann, when you start with E (by just trying to open the door), you wind up trapped in the showers, and have to solve 3 butterfly puzzles before you can get the key and leave. (zoz tells how above, and I spotted what she missed in the last puzzle.) Then you're at the swimming pool, where you'll meet Jenny and Susie. The only way out of there is climbing through the window to the computer room, but from there you can get to all kinds of places. Significantly, you can get to one of the bathrooms and find the orange key.

btw, I saved a game right before choosing any lines, so I don't have to skip through the intro when starting a new one - that's in the 3rd slot, then I have 2 different A games (with the 3 girls, and with Lisa), a B, C and E game saved, and still room for a D if I need to. My biggest problem is going to be going too far with something in a particular line, then saving, then wishing I could go back farther.

OK, I re-opened a B game I had been playing and finally got Susie to open the door to the room where I could get the doggone extra blue book, and I've been sailing along since then.

I found a way to actually use the brown key ("key of earth") in the basement. When I was able to solve the grid in classroom 2F #4, the brick passageway opened up and took me down to where I could get the Green wheel. So I went back up and emptied the pool, got in it and used the Red Wheel to go to B1, where I used the brown key on the wooden door. This took me into a storage room where the final stairway code (99x99 = 9801) was on the wall. So there actually is a way to get the brown key and use it! I no longer have a battery in my inventory, so I assume I used it before to get the black tile to gain access to the brown key.
And that's a relief!

well I thought I'd be able to get Susie to open one of many locked doors I have with windows above, but she won't do a thing! I haven't even broken her foot yet! So I'm unexpectedly stuck in my E game, as I'm lacking one top piece to solve the puzzles in the art room, and I'm trying not to open either the Sagittarius or Taurus doors. Can't get to the main staircase or the elevator.

Maybe I'll try the B line some more...

Started B again and found the dadgum paper clip right away! Look out!

And still can't get anywhere much...I think this game is eating my brain. :\

ups it's my mistake, I really thought that only in E line I could take the Earth Key and used it :D
btw I checked videos WT's and only one is described like True End - is E line, but you must play with Lisa - in some moment ignore New Mission "Explore the unused Classrom" and go to the Rec Room - only this way Lisa appears - if you earlier went to the 2F Unused Classrom in Rec Room Lisa didn't appear
in Toilet 5 we found Orange Key, so we can go to Rec Room through 1F East Porch
if you already play with Lisa, go to the 1F Changing Room Hallway - after animation go to the 1F Main Porch, use battery and come in to Secret Path - Tina can take a rope - it would be usefull on the Pool ;) and later in elevator

after solving the puzzles in Art Room you have Metal and Water Keys - go to 3F Physics Lab and you'll find 6 tile to 1F Women's Changing Room - second toilet plunger
if you have 2 toilet plungers you can go to 1F Flower Corridor - it's room on Pool, right besides statue - you'll find another key, with toilet plunger help Lisa will get it - use hint from blackboard in 3F Language Lab - circles are places when plunger must go

So frustrated. I have been trying to do the graticle puzzle with your instructions. I have,
60E---> 150 E <----- 45 S down 60 S up
which means to not click anything if I am correct.

I can hear the piano music but can't get into the room yet. Playing the A game and got the clue already.

@Nuckelhedd I think your code means you will have 3 bars clicked red. Start at 60E go three over at 45S

Starting from scratch on B line today. Have a bit of time. Hoping to get a bit farther by choosing different things.

I'm playing D line, read zoz's WT, step by step opened and closed different doors but in the end on 4F always exploding in terrace, whyyyy??? :D

ACKKK!!! Started B line from scratch and Jenny only opened ONE DOOR with the wire for me! I am sure she opened a bunch for me last time! Must have found a really bad paper clip :(

LOL Playing the game a bit differently, decided to stay with the girls rather than go with Lisa. Went into the hallway where Sally falls down the hole and then the game says

"Sally has quitted the team" LOL Poor Sally!

@grzegania, did you very carefully check the computer screen in the computer lab? There is one difference depending on your game, and it will decide whether you blow up or not.
Also, be sure you activate or deactivate the appropriate doors in the Aries vending machine room.
** I think I remember running into a problem on the 4F terrace the first time around. As I recall, you have to click on a adjacent view (or not click on it) before letting the girl talk. Check the video WT to see what I'm trying to say.

Oh! Met Penny now!

Seems in B line, if you choose to stay with the girls instead of going with Lisa, you get very specific missions. Had to figure out the mysterious music, now have to go to a classroom and figure out the blackboard puzzle.

When I stayed with Lisa, I got more vague missions like get into B1

Seems Penny knows morse code and opened a door (2F Class 1) using the panel outside the door.I tried to translate the morse code but it was jibberish

Yay! Finally got into all the classrooms for the grid puzzle! Penny is very helpful!

@grzegania, check the video WT paying very close attention to where he clicks and what happens once gaining access to the 4F terrace. It's quirky, but I'm pretty sure that will work.

Found my error, now I have the green wheel and emptied the pool. Got into the basement but need the key of earth or key of water.

Jo-Ann (if I good remember) if you did the grid puzzle, use your red wheel where you get green wheel

Wish I could be of help but sadly I can't get into all the class rooms and haven't found anyone to help since Penny opened the morse code doors. I am playing an A game. Found the gold coin in one classroom and went to the basement with it and opened the elevator side door. Then opened the door with two coins and died a crushing death by ceiling. I have the battery in the elevator so ....

Nuckelhedd Jones - I think that if you already have Gold Coin there is no way to open the rest of classrooms

ups sorry Jo-Ann - in A line you could get the Fire Key using red wheel in this place, my mistake :(

Hahaha! the only place I see that uses the fire key is an area that I don't have access to

Have officially made it farther then I have ever been in this game. Am now in the control room in the basement!

@grzegania, I followed your advice about playing the E line with Liza (12/9 at 4:17 a.m.) and I've actually run into a couple of scenes I don't remember seeing before.
One thing I keep forgetting and it costs me lots of time being stuck so I'll mention it for others: If you get into the Art Room but you don't have four top tiles for the square wall puzzle, don't despair (like I did). Just go to the right and you can take 9 additional tiles from the Palette puzzle. I already had three tiles, so after I solved the square wall puzzle, the Palette puzzle was solvable.
I'm probably the only one who got stuck by overlooking something so obvious, but you never know!

@zoz, is the art room on the 4th floor? Haven't made it there yet.

In the second basement, there is a puzzle where you can put your tiles. The clue is small to big... what does that mean?

@Jo-Ann, the Art Room is on the 3F (It's the one you can get into after Susie gives you the 0807 code). In the WT I call it the "3F Virgo room.

As for the B2 code pad puzzle, I wrote the solution in the WT -

I have already placed 9 tiles in the vertical slots, and I have marked the number for each tile (from the 3F Music Room Code pad).
Once the tiles are in place, click on each one in order from smallest number to largest number; in the example shown, I clicked on 1,2,3,4,6,7,9,10,and12.
The double doors will unlock. If you want, you can get the tiles back by clicking on the yellow B on the code pad."


Even so, I could not make it work in the game I was playing yesterday (B line maybe?). I even checked the Video WT to see if I was doing it right. The only thing I can figure out is that out of 10 or 11 tiles that I had, 6 of them were numbered "1" on the Music Room keypad, so i had to press each of the "1" tiles before moving up to 2, etc.
I never did get it to work! I hope you have better luck! Sometimes, like in the E line game I just played, the double doors are unlocked already.
btw, much much thanks to grzegania, I just got the E line "True Ending". Having the final dialog in English really helped explain a lot.

Thanks Zoz, I swear I did that but must have mixed up a number because it worked now! I placed 2 coins, the ceiling started to fall but I was saved by Ruby Bing!

ok, so I got Destruction Ending - Main Ending for Line B but only 17% complete

Have been playing this game for days, and intend to be playing it for weeks yet - it's fascinating.

Still don't understand how to get into the E line - the earthquake doesn't seem to happen unless I click on one of the pictures? I have been clicking on both doors, getting nothing but the 'locked' notices.

POP! First zoom on all 4 pictures (without clicking any of them) - *then* try the Sagittarius door.

Welcome Annie K.! I made an omission in the WT about getting into the E line. You do need to zoom on a Hand picture (I think only one will do) and then click on the Sagittarius door
My apologies for that (exasperating) omission.

Has anybody found a use for the hammer in the E line? Or any other use for it in any line, besides breaking that mirror to get into the computer room?

Just finished playing through the true ending in the E line. Hey, T34, it's not really fair that to reach the only True Ending you have to disregard your given mission (which also happens to be a logical one) and go haring off in a different direction! Just btw. ;p

And I can just hear Lisa remarking sarcastically that life isn't fair... ;)

Much was as I had already guessed (I noticed a mention of an " emergency message from Dr. Tang" in another line, and didn't miss the identity to Tina's last name... his first name is given in Sally's bio), but my theory was based on the idea that Ruby had recreated her lost sister in the virtual space, and David had done the same with his - that Tina had died in that accident was clear, that was a monster truck coming at her in her memory, not some scooter! - so I had just been looking for who the person with a motive behind her recreation might have been (as I assumed Ruby was behind Lucy's), and I found that person in the mention of the mysterious "Dr. Tang". The explanation given in the storyline has a few different twists.

Lucy still confuses me; there seem to be two versions of her, the malevolent ghost/projection, and the apparently normal (if somewhat dead by the time we see her) victim of the string curse...

Sally had me completely fooled (her behavior in other lines doesn't seem to make sense in this light), and Ruby's involvement is still unclear too. Haven't heard a thing about the diamond yet either, which is no doubt connected to this part of the story. I expect to find out much more with further explorations, I'm still only at overall 49%. But I would be absolutely nowhere without all the help here, so thanks again to everybody! :)

Anyway, if you do decide to try the E game, there is one essential piece of information that I had to find on the game forum that runs below the game (cut and paste into Google translate). In order to open the box from the Pisces locker room and thus exit, you have to press the keys in the 9 grid box like this: 153,948,267. On the forum it says something like this is according to the coordinates, which I don't understand, but I'd still be stuck there without it! ---

I see just1 answered that at 12/8/14, 5:37 PM, but in more detail:

This is the order in which the butterflies "light up" - look at that recurring picture of butterflies as a 3x3 grid (like the box keypad) plus the extra green tenth, which doesn't count in the box pad.

... so, going up the stalls, we go from 1 butterfly which also happens to be in position 1, then 2 butterflies, position 1 already lit and now the second butterfly to light up is the one in position 5, then 3 butterflies, with position 3 joining the already lit 1 and 5, so the sequence so far is 1-5-3... and so on.

@Annie K, I just checked in to see comments but not to play (it's 4:30 am here), and I have to give you a HUGE thank you for explaining the 153,948,267 code! I believe that you are a "natural" at this game. Have you played "Dream House"? It's by the same group and came out a couple of years ago. It's well worth your time if you haven't played it before.

@ just1 you're welcome, but be careful not to confuse my theories, which I gave just to contrast with the game's explanation, with the official story. :) The points I guessed correctly were just that Tina had died - years ago - in that accident, and that Dr. Tang was her brother, and somehow involved with her appearance in the virtual space. That's it - the actual further details in the story are different. They involve time travel (to save Tina rather than recreate her virtually) of the multiverses type (i.e., where changing the past creates a split into different universes, rather than simply changing our past with the attendant ramifications - not sure I hold with this theory, btw, but oh well, their story) ;) ... and there's also a great deal more about the other girls. Don't really want to spoil it all for you, better to help you reach the ending and see for yourself. :)

@zoz , glad to pay you back a little! :) I have seen mentions of Dream House. If I understood correctly, this game is supposed to be the prequel to it? So I am planning (erm, hoping, rather) ;p to play through every line in this game to its best solution, and then I will tackle Dream House next. Thanks. :)

Next I will be trying to replay the A line again, which I was playing yesterday, and also in an earlier attempt, but yesterday I had Penny open one of the upstairs code doors first, and never got the gold coin. I'm guessing we only get that if we have her open the 1st floor door where the coin is as her first door (I did that the first time in A and got the coin). If I remember right, that was the room across from the large doors with the school bell on them.

Sheesh, I am getting to know my way around this building as well as any real school I've been in. Heh. At first the game's tendency to spin around and look back at the door we just came through confused the hecque out of me, but once I figured that out, I started to get oriented. :)

...ok... never did find the gold coin - must have been in another line? - but I did complete the A line main ending. At 65% now. Very interesting, here we get more of Ruby's point of view. :)

@grzegania, were you able to complete the ending to the D line by escaping via the 4F terrace? I just did it (after a couple of failures) and I can tell you that, in addition to paying attention to the computer screen with regards to the Capricorn and Scorpio doors, you must not unlock the Pisces door. The Libra door can only be opened after closing the Taurus door on the vending machine in the Aries room, and then the Cancer door must be unlocked (you'll get a diamond key there, but don't use it). Only after you've done all these things can you open the Sagittarius door to the unused classroom to get back to 4F.
Finally, when you do open the door to the 4F terrace, do not click the left arrow. Just click on the right side of the screen and talk with Suzie, who will show you the way home.

I can get into the bathrooms, but I can't find the orange key. I'm not sure if my game glitched or if I just can't see the key. Could someone post a screenshot with the key's location highlighted or give a very specific description of it's location?

I replayed D line and always exploded in 4F, so zoz would you be so kind and tell me what I'm doing wrong
- start in Toilet 4
- go to Toilet 5 - get hammer and orange key
- go to Toilet 4 - used hammer and go to 2F Office - get the purple key
- use key on pad and get them all
- go to 1F Main Porch - get black tile
- go to 1F East Porch - meet Susie
- go to Toilet 6 - see EDC hint
- go to Toilet 3 - get magnetic card
- go to 2F Digital Reading Room (DRR) - use magnetic card and open door to 2F East Corner
- go to 1F East Hallway - see animation
- go to 2F Unused Classroom - another animation
- go to Toilet 4 - use hint D.I.E and use puzzle tile - get the Eye Ball
- go to Unused Classrom - use Eye Ball, get the Heart Key
- go to 2F DRR use 2014 password
- open all Toilets, make the sink puzzle - get the Key of Water
- go 1F open Taurus Room, get the beaker
- go to 1F Main Hallway - open Class 2, get the book with grey tile

omg it was so simple I opened WRONG door on 4F to find the lighter - instead of Capricorn Door I always opened Scorpio - this it the explanation why I exploded :D

@grzegania, I'm so glad you figured it out! As I was reading your previous post, I couldn't find anything wrong and was about to view the imgupload when I saw your next post.
The Scorpio vs. Capricorn doors made me explode more than once - you just really have to keep checking your computer image.
btw, I also blew up when I opened Libra before closing Taurus, and another time when I had opened Pisces, and still another when I opened Sagittarius out of order. Tricky game!

Had to take a break from playing this, but now I've got all the endings.

I think I would have eventually figured out all but one puzzle on my own, if I had to (though I probably never would have connected the "tic-tac-toe" clue to the plungers route, the game would have let me BF it, since I "saw" the clue), and some others could be solved with some patience, especially since the game itself gives hints too - but the "math" puzzle in the Art room would have been a total stumper for me. Not only is the math wrong (there's a minus sign, but we're supposed to do two additions...), it would also never have occurred to me that only the top puzzle pieces would do. Who solves something like that?! ;s

A game of rare beauty, regardless. Now on to Dream House! :)

Too late though ;) - I've already played through the earlier version, and then just took a quick look at the 1.5 version so far (looks like it will take quite a bit longer to play, so saving it for a free weekend). No worries, it's a fine game.

To anyone else who started by playing this game and wants to move on to Dream House next, in more detail:

There is no real need to play the earlier version. Version 1.5 is not just a sequel: it also includes the original Dream House, improved and enriched with extra features and options, and has a sequel part. So that's the go-to link: Dream House 1.5

Hi Annie, and Gongtats on finishing all the games. I think that makes you a member of a rather exclusive club (of nerds, yes, but exclusive nonetheless!).
And I agree with you about that Art Room puzzle. When I played the game, everything was still in Chinese, so I resorted to the player's blog and the video WTs for help.
Good luck with Dream House! It's a great game, one I'll have to play again before too long. Now if T34 could just make us another one!

Sticking with this game while it was still in Chinese requires simply incredible tenaciousness! Very impressive.

I've been too busy to get back to Dream House yet, but it's bookmarked and will not be forgotten. :)

BTW, as I said, I'm sure the Dream House girl ("the doctor's sister") is our Tina, even with the different eye color. Also, I was curious enough to check - the doctor's wife's birthday does not match any of the girls' birthdays from here... but then, in our universe Eric probably doesn't die either, so David wouldn't have gotten to know his foster daughters quite as well. There's still Sally, however, and in our universe she doesn't have Tina's cells, so no relation to David... and Lisa... oh well, gossip is fun. ;p

The Rosefinch Curse has a much more powerful and captivating story (plot) than Dream House, though. If T34 do make a sequel, I hope they will keep this level of storytelling! :)

THIS GRATICULE PUZZLE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!
I got so many coordinates from every game I restarted... and NEITHER are accepted, I only get "WRONG PASSWORD"!!!!
HOW TO FILL THIS DAMN PUZZLE!!?? even watching it being solved in a video doesn't make sense!

my currently coordinates are: oºE-> 150º<- 45ºS (down arrow) 75º (up arrow)- Branch and 60º-> 90º<- 30º (down arrow) 45º (up arrow)
(I have a diferente save stuck in this puzzle in TWO branches...)
by the way what the meaning of this DAMN arrows in the coordinates!?
