My first live SD Asylum!! Yay!!

Just what I needed to cheer me up--feeling blue today.

blue key in the gross dentist's bowl

sneeky SD in Q

Happy 4th Everyone :)

Give ring to the lady ghost ant she gives you the jar to collect orbs

YAY - an Asylum SSSG!!!

Happy 4th!!

I'm in aswell :) Felling happy atfer Brazil won against Columbia :P

Gold key in J after using hammer on wall

Check wall of bathroom in G for a sneeky clue

And flashlight in B

got hammer, used in J for gold key. Used colors code

Found match in R

cant find ring..

Ring is in the book in O

also got red key from pulling all levers.

Any hint for piano and for typing machine?

no.. but book gives hint for blue gem.. in M

Totally missed flashlight and book! Thanks!
Where to use flashlight? Have been to every room except where you use black key--nada.

Crowbar in F used on loose pannel in C gives key for piano

Use flashlight in E for red key.

After unlocking gold door, you get rose-colored glasses in the doorway.

sorry key is not for piano. Is the "black key"

Piano clue on tiles in G.. can't get the tile puzzle itself to do anything.

Hint in H and puzzle in G

I got the hint, but it doesn't seem to do anything to the tiles, no matter which tool I try.

Got cross from playing the piano and used it on ghost for yellow gem

Oh, and clue for typewriter is an anagram in the book.

Hmmm, I had red key before getting the flashlight. Bug maybe?
@ Seed Tile puzzle I had to try a few times, but I'm major laggy with this game today.

Seedbeads what book? The one we took the ring from? Can't see anything worth anagraming there

You need the rose glasses.

And out.

thx Seed..

And btw, i cant get my tile code to work

This tile puzzle is the last thing I need to do and it just won't work... all it does it tell me "You touched the tile." no matter what I do or what I use. So frustrating!

seabeads, click every tile the clue says to

How to solve puzzle in G?

Finally... oh that's so frustrating to make it so specific. Pixel hunts are easier than that was!

Beaker I tried that already..

Can you explain more Seedbeads?

OMG finally

Clue in book (from o) is seen w/ red glasses.
Anagram for orange gem.

SrPuOnIeLjEoyR for clue
SjPoOuIrLnEeyR for anagram

SSS Girl, sorry I misled you. The red key comes from the red levers.

OUT finally... my husband beat me only because he got his gems placed first. :)

Out! thx all

help with color box in s.i'm color blind and the yellow and green look the same.when i click i see;1click green,2clicks red,3 clicks yellow.4clicks blue.help im stuck

The typewriter doesn't print the letters, but it says I touched the tile. lol

For the G puzzle - so specific... you have to click the JY tile, then the one two down from it, then the one to the left of that, then the bottom left corner one, then the one 4 to the right of it, and it'll tell you that the tile is loose, pry it off with the screwdriver. If you click anywhere else, it just doesn't work.
[edited for clarity]

@tony, the order of the colors as you click them, G R Y B

Do you need help with the clue over the door?

Thank, Seedbeads!!

Finally out!

Thanks, Seedbeads. I know I tried that before. I don't think I noticed the words change to tell me the tile was loose. I missed that step.

Tony
1-green
2-red
3-yellow
4-blue
Clue reads: gry bgy rby

Beau, the white gem is on the purple pedestal in E after you solve the puzzle in M.

Wrong, you get the blue gem from the puzzle in M.
I don't remember what we did for the white gem.

Aaaaand shockwave just crashed as I was setting gems. :( Boo!
I will assume the door opens and you escape after and call it done!
Thanks for the clues everyone. Mmmmmwwwwwaaaahhhhh!

Thanks Selfdefiant,
I was thinking you were at a independence day BBQ!
But no you hung around to post :))))

You get the white gem when you collect 50 orbs; it's on the purple pedestal.

Thank you Self Defiant for another fun game! And thanks for not making us purchase the map. But I did miss the transporting crystal ball.

Phew! Not sure what to do with the green plant in O. Do I need to open the piano in D? If so, how? Where are the gems placed? (I have 7). Sorry if any of these have already been answered. A hint is just as welcome as a direct answer! Thanks.

Can't remember where all the gems went - I wandered aimlessly trying to figure it out. Once you've made the plant grow, there's nothing else to do but go back to the room with the pillars. The piano doesn't open; there's an open one elsewhere.

Huw, the green plant, I think, gives you the green gem in E.
The piano in D is not used.

Once you've completed everything and collected all the gems, there are places on walls which indicate where to place the gems. You just have to go from room to room to find them.

Where to place gems:

Red - B
Yellow - D
Orange - H
Blue - L
White - N
Green - P
Purple - T

Thanks, Seedbeads. I've no idea what I did, but suddenly all the slots to place the gems appeared in all the rooms and I was out. The POP effect! Thanks for the help, also to others. Excellent game, Selfdefiant. Thanks so much. I LOVE the picking up the orbs just by moving the mouse over them and the accompanying sound effect.

Great one Selfdefiant!

Thanks so much for all the wonderful games all the time!!!

Thanks, Peggy!

What's up with the silver key that was never used? (I don't remember where I found it.)

lol there were only 4 comments when I started
I can't believe I went through the almost the whole game without finding the map that was in plain sight
I can't find where to use the silver key

I don't recall finding a silver key (maybe for the piano in D?). Don't recall using the flashlight anywhere either!

silver key was in A using the flashlight

@self defiant thank you for another great game

If it wasn't so late (Europe), I'd replay to see if the silver key opens the piano in D. Maybe some kind of bonus hidden there? Good night all and thanks for the helpful hints.

Me thinks the locked piano and silver key
was nothing more than Sneaky Deception....

I replayed and never found a place for the silver key, unless it is needed to exit.
It does NOT open the piano, BTW.

I found the silver key and tried to use the piano is closed. Not resolved. Finished the game with this useless key. Some bug?

A1 as usual SD

I became bored searching for something to put orbs in, 1 star

stuck with puzzle in M. nothing I do or use works there.

I could only gather 67 orbs. Got the silver key, but no use on the piano. Oh, well. Still, a classic Asylum; Thanks SD!

Excllent

@evans, follow the pattern given in the diary for the puzzle in M.

@iconland, if you had read the comments, you would know that the jar for the orbs comes from the ghost girl in I, in trade for her ring.

I prefer green orbs to purple ones.
1 star. :)

I'm only missing the red gem, and there are no clues in the comments. Help?

gmm, you get the red gem when you light the fireplace in B. The matches are in R.

Ah, red gem from lighting fireplace, I think it was in B.

       Anonymous  7/5/14, 2:46 AM

I can't find the screwdriver either. Apparently it's in Q but must be very well hidden...

PeteBarbu: SD is in Q, not easy to see

       Anonymous  7/5/14, 2:56 AM

I've searched in Q with rose coloured specs and with torch. I've slowly dragged the cursor around the room. No luck! Any chance of stupidly specific location within room Q?

       Anonymous  7/5/14, 3:13 AM

Can't get any further without screwdriver. Will come back later.

Smarties, sd in Q on the floor bottom right of chair

yes it is in Q @ thx shalala :D

       Anonymous  7/5/14, 9:23 AM

Back. Thank you seb - that was the sneakiest hidden screwdriver ever!

       Anonymous  7/5/14, 9:36 AM

@Peggy in an ideal game a person should not have to look at comments or walk-through, there should be a logical sequence to do things and admittedly in this game there are, but in an effort to string things out the author left me bored.

       Anonymous  7/5/14, 9:38 AM

And out. Thanks again.

       Anonymous  7/5/14, 11:35 AM

i can´t find blue gem in L

Blue gem is in M after solving the puzzle

@iconland - the fun of these games is that you have to search things out and interpret the clues. You seem to think that everything should be completely obvious and easy to find. Selfdefiant's games are more logical than most. Your inability to find something has nothing to do with the quality of the game and your perpetual one star reviews are meaningless.

No key in gross bowl. So — cannot play. Very bad.

NOT, I think you have to just keep clicking around and then the blue key appears. There is another hotspot besides the three obvious ones.
