I am just not understanding this game.
Oldmaiden you must see clues for some items to become active.
I'm currently stuck with a candle and an axe type item in my inventory and a 15 bat clue I don't understand!
As far as I remember, use axe thingy on shelf above chest, gives hint for barrel with statue left of door.
you can also take arrow thingy right of where you took axe thingy on wall for barrel below it.
Walkthrough (with thanks to AΩ):
R1: Right wall zoom in and take arrow and axe (takes two zooms, one on each).
Put arrow on blue spot on barrel for key.
Same wall again zoom in on square and note letter at top.
Zoom in on floor square and note number.
R2: Zoom in on square on left wall and note numbers.
R1: 4 digit box is now active. Use clues for candle.
Place candle on shelf above chest and light with stones.
Use axe on same shelf for knife clue.
Solve knife puzzle on left totem for red ball.
Use lit candle to light horns above door for number clue.
R1: Take paper from back wall and put in it in bowl in R2. Receive 15 bat clue.
Combine number and bat clues for colour code.
R1: Open leaf box with colour code and take weird star.
Bottom shelf take two stones.
Middle shelf take mace.
Back wall take two knives.
Zoom in on top of right wall and note star shapes.
R2: Zoom in on right totem and place knives and mace for puzzle.
Placement order is mace, right knife, left knife. Why are they so fussy!
Solve puzzle for clue for chest.
Use new clue on chest on left floor for lock.
Open lock with key from barrel and place the weird star for second red ball.
Zoom on left totem and place the red balls in its eyes to get wheel.
Again placement is tricky, right ball from inventory in left eye first!
Zoom on door and place wheel on grey spot to the left of it and out.
Alternatively you could hammer nails into your kneecaps.
It would be more fun than this game.
