I have found all the firewood, five stones, and two firestones. Have a fire now. By finding those pearls (called snake stones) for the star to the very left you'll get an egg for the stone to the very right. I have two snake statues as well. Now I think those were the simple things, looking for the hard ones.

can't find the fifth stone. Bf'd the snake chain puzzle on the wall in the big snake room for another snake statue.
2 stones light the fire and then light torch and place it in bracket in water scene.
Out, that fifth stone was one screen over in my inventory. lol.
Ok, let's see. Collect the normal stones. They are either in plain sight or behind piles of rocks, examine them carefully. Throw them into the water and collect the snake stones.
Collect the pearls as well. Maybe I got one from making a path through the grid (hint in the left scene). Put the pearls in the star at the very left. Take the egg you receive and put it on the stone to the very right.
Collect the wood and make a fire with the two fire stones (they look similar to the normal stones).
Solve the circles puzzle (a fleur de lys) for a torch. Light the torch and put it at the back of the first scene.
stones are all ahead,throw them in water and you'll get a hint for snake puzzle directions
Evans, out??? Did you collect five eggs? Where? How did you pass the snake? And what did the lit torch do?
The four snake statues give you the other 4 snake eggs. place them then collect the snake and put him on top of eggs. solve rotating star puzzle and out.
I couldn't see anything the lit torch did and never saw a hint for the arch puzzle either, just kept moving them around til it opened.
Ah, I'm missing the fourth snake staue. Do you have a little hint for me?

right there! the torch gave hint for the small arch puzzle!

Oh. Didn't see that, just made a nice curved line and it opened, haha.

replayed torch gives hint for arch puzzle, on wall, slightly above and right of torch. hard to see.
The funny thing is, you can't bruteforce things in this game, you first have to see the hints. So when you think you're bruteforcing things, you've probably seen a hint without noticing :)

Eh, I just lined them up then kept rotating once each part until it opened.
