still stuck here. Trying to combine note with book. It's not 2,12,4,1,10 or 2,12,4,9
I haven't a clue what to do, so no help from me! Have looked carefully at lots of things but can only take the paper and don't know what to do with it. I thought I made out X IV X on it, but even if I'm right, don't know what to do with that info.

Thanks AO. Having more joy now I've increased the screen size and am hitting some more pixels. Didn't know we could zoom in 4x4 grid on bottom drawer.
There's a clue and key right of shelves near bike.

now K on can in fridge makes more sense with the hint paper from locked drawer (not that I know what to do right now lol)

Oh I see. Open it in inventory when in front of window with light off. Flip it over to see the roman numerals.

I'm getting no where with the grid drawer. If you number the squares L to R from 1 to 16, then press the numbers from the clue, should it open? What am I doing wrong?

For the desperate folks (I don't consider this a "spoiler")

Haah...I'm sure that the clubs sign too (upper side of small shelf, you can see it when you pick up the key) stands for a number. Something with a 3 inside I would say...
I think clubs is 7, diamonds K and hearts 10 (or 10 and 3). Didn't see spades, but not being able to make the screwdriver is the main problem I think.
Put the screwdriver part in the freezer. Walk around for a while. take it out and mount it with the handle.

I bet the Japanese text says something that it's too thick by the fraction of an inch and freezing them will cause it to shrink minimally...

...however it seems to have to remain inside there for QUITE awhile, since you can remove it prematurely and you still won't be able to fit it into the handle...!
Well, looking at the new grid now (by removing the panel above the bed), but no idea what spades is and how to use K for diamonds as digit.
The spade are at a dark place...
The diamond is a king..
King is 13 (10, J , Q, K)
Look for spade under bed after removing panel...

just a couple of notes that might save some frustration:
1.To place the metal screwdriver in the freezer, you first must drag the handle to About Item and try to attach the metal part. Only then will the metal part go in freezer.
2. Once the metal part is in the freezer, you must look at the clock. I looked once, then went around the room, then looked again
3. If you can't find the right pixel to get the metal sd part from the bike pedestal, restart the game. Once I did that, I clicked right on it.
Fussy little game, but ultimately solvable (thanks to all the hints from players above).
