choose letters from the ingredients the foot-monster asks for to open a closet - you find last monster
open another cb with trident
open your red cylinder by number of eyes (i's) on each monster - order on picture
put orange on Japanese New Year's thing - don't know what it's called - brown monster will take it and move out of the water
give chili pepper to sick monster
I think I found up/down clue in monstar.con pic but can't get it to work
now stuck (but really enjoying this game)
need 4-button clue, up/down clue (?), sth to set fire to, sth to collect water

for up/down, u d u for M, need to use the "valley" point of the letter.

The M contains a down as well as 2 ups.
lol, 4-button clue is right there in the same room w/ the buttons
kettle from the orange button box. Look at the monsters piggy-tails.

@kevaus I don't remember - but if you keep clicking you get some double letters - that's for the '56' clue
I think it was 3-1-sth, so you take the 3rd letter from first word, 1st from 2nd word, etc.

Hi kevaus. I have closed the game, but the words are: Natto, Anko, Daikon, Kinako, Isobe. The fourth box offers you a double letter.

I have no idea how to open that red and white cylinder. The explanations here were not clear. There are 5 monsters and only 4 #'s on the cylinder???

I looked at walkthrough for that.
Some numbers are clicked more than once to do all eyes of the monsters.
Well, since you already spoiled it:
Yellow monster has 1 eye.
Red monster 3
Brown 0
Black 2
Pink 10 (= 1 an 0)
Hmmm... a Yonashi game I don't like... Weird.
I never saw the 3rd eye on the red monster until the ending. Even after re-playing the game I saw only 2 eyes. Would have been stuck without the spoilers here!
I don't understand any of it lol. How are the numbers relating to the pink montsters words? That's the first one I'm trying to solve.
