ReplyDeletethe Z in letterbox to the right of spade shape is the hint for square picture. note the white edges and there are 2 letters.
ReplyDeleteremoved tail piece of spade and put it on heart - now have numbers 2,3,4 and 5. Tried diamond as 1 and 4 but no luck
ReplyDeletedon't need number 1 - click shown number of times, ie hearts x 2 etc
ReplyDeletenow have key from letter box
ReplyDeletekey fits both locks - get can but drawer seems stuck
ReplyDeleteHi Fudge, I tried that several times but no luck. (I tried: heart 2x, spade 5x, diamond 5x and club 3x)
ReplyDeleteclick right drawer twice and left drawer twice
ReplyDeleteafter hitting switch, c changes to O - then put can on letter by feet and out
ReplyDeleteHotz - diamond is 4 after dislodging picture
ReplyDeleteahhh finally, for diamond, note the white bar with keyhole.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fudge
ReplyDeleteAahhh Hotzenplotz, thank you for that last explanation.
ReplyDeleteFascinating how this works. How your eyes are focused on one object and not seeing that it has to be combined with another.
Don't overthink the letterbox. The backpack shows two numbers, left and right.
ReplyDeleteI had to click inside the drawer to open it fully.
ReplyDeleteAnd had to search for the feet too.
This was fun and somehow a good exercise in observing for me.
Thank you both for walking through.
Good game, nice to watch the ending as well.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the letter box.
ReplyDeleteWell. Now it worked but I had tried that before.
ReplyDelete(If you like the music and want to hear a longer version, just let it start and click away from the game).
ReplyDeleteWell. Now it worked but I had tried that before.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what to do with any of this game - and the hints here are making it more confusing
ReplyDeleteLet me help you? I'm still listening to the music.
ReplyDeleteThe letterbox is showing two Z's with an arrow.
ReplyDeleteSo on the squarebox hanging on the wall click the corners
up left, up right, down left, down right.
Do that twice, the box will drop and become a diamond-shape..

ReplyDelete.. together with the white bar with keyhole next to it this diamond shape forms the roman numeral IV (4).
ReplyDeleteTake the small part of the spade (it becomes a heart) and put it on the heart (becomes a spade).
Notice the roman numerals on all shapes and click each of them that amount of times on the box.
I.e.: spade 5, heart 2 ... etc.
Click the button to get the backpack.
How you're doing now?
lol, I guess you stopped trying ...
ReplyDeletearrie - maybe i'll use your help :). That all I did by myself, now stuck with numbers on backpack...
ReplyDelete..then I'll continue.
ReplyDeleteOn the backpack are 2 numbers.
ReplyDeleteClick the left and right buttons on the letterbox that amount of times and you get a key.
I keep doing it all the time and nothing....
ReplyDeleteOK - ive got it!. I thought that 1 clikc = different letter....
ReplyDeleteThis key is used twice.
ReplyDelete1. on the white bar (click the little rectangle part to open the bar) and get a can.
2. on the table. click the right drawer twice, then the left drawer twice, now click the right drawer again to open it fully. Click the switch to 'O'.
Yes, I should have said that ! Nevermind the letters on the box, just click the buttons.
ReplyDeleteOut. thanks :).

ReplyDeleteI thought perhaps the letters T and S would be a hint, but can't 'translate' them into anything for the drawers. Could refer to the use of the key :
ReplyDeleteT = table and
S = the white bar for which the maker has a logical name, starting with an s.
You're welcome.
I don't know any hint for this way of clicking the drawers. Fudge and Hotzenplotz didn't mention a hint either.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Fudge, I didn't check m/f before. Now I did.
thankfully that backpack was a parachute
ReplyDeletenever thought to remove tail piece of spade or to use white bar with keyhole for part of roman numeral
therefore, thx folks for the hints :-)
I know it is ... already saw that, but I didn't correct myself there. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI immediately realized the Z's are meant to be hints - but I would have never realized in a million years where to utilize that hint - and not in another million years that BOTH Z's are supposed to be used...
ReplyDeleteClicking drawers can be done via trial-and-error.
ReplyDeleteIt's like some wall picture "puzzles" where one false step will cause the picture to "reset".
This is what will happen with the drawers as well, so just find the combination that will not cause said "reset".
I remember the previous (first?) game from this guy and how i liked it. And I really liked this game, too - except for the "two Z's" hint which I would never ever get without a hint.
ReplyDeletewow bio, that means 2 million years ... longer than it took to invent the wheel ...
ReplyDeleteOdd. thanks for the clues though.
ReplyDeleteLOL, the letters on the box stand for numbers from 0 to 9 - start at 0, click 3 and 7 times, you land on T and S; 3 & 7!
