found my last red disc in tree stump middle of first scene towards the back

Also in left scene, there are two clues on two grey trees: "letters" and colours for the squares on the mountain in first scene.
Clicked around that last one for a looooong time.

three colours in first scene read right left/top to bottom.
the sum in the scene on the right only works after seeing the clue in the left scene.
