Axe is used on the box in the first scene and the stick is used in the hole below the deer, but that gives just an empty scroll.
Made fire, but no hint from that either. Now what ?

Ah, the other half of the 4 digit hint is in the deer scene. Got a sword now.

ST- Use fire to heat sword.

As for the scroll: right from it is a cb. That has two doors. Not just one.

Got a hammer from the rryg box. Only one column has those has exact colours.

There are two drawers you can open (one with code) and the brick right next to the top drawer can be opened.

Any idea where to use the two handles ?

Smarties: the hole in at the bottom of the plate where the deer is on.

I am now stuck with the colors on the scroll that don;t seem to work on the grid and a handle I can't find any use for.

Found the other two numbers - in the bedhead.

Handles are used at the right exit door (left and right side) then key works...

The colours on the scroll worked for me. Used twice - once for red 4x4 grid and once for the 4 letter box.

Cool, the colours on the 4x4 grid do work and as Smarties said it's also the hint for the RRYG box.

Gris colors were working for me.

Pfff ... you DO have to put the colors in correctly of course :)

Lol, yep Cool, that's a bit the rule, but it would be great though if, with one or two colours wrong, they would say: Ok, close enough, the panel opens :)

Wonderful comments but I can't do anything other than light a candle and a torch.
Nothing else is interactive.
Sick of clicking everywhere to giving up.
Not my idea of a fun game!

my scroll is stuck open on the screen under the deer, thought that id find a pen to write on and it would go away but i believe its a bug

Ericka, it's not a bug. You'll find a quill pen in a drawer (no key needed, and the quill has ink in it already!)
