The clue is right side of waterfall.
You need 2 big yellow eggs to escape.
Tally marks on tree give 5 digit clue also.
Where to use the mace?
Never found any mace? Do you mean a club?

Where is the club?
Missing one butterfly and one lamp for beside mean green egg too.
Where is the direction hint?
Direction hint was on a tree in scene with 4x4 grid puzzle club was on ground one scene up.
4-directions hint it in scene to right of green face, on the left.
how do I go up from 4x4 grid puzzle? (what do I need to open door)
You need to place 4 pink flowers to open door Lsquared
One tricky flower was in scene with egg that has faces puzzle, right side above # sign.
