Well, good luck trying to leave hints about where you find stuff in this junkyard! Found shovel inside car in next to last scene.
HINT: hammer used on object in back of beat-up white truck in scene 4.
Need to get crowbar from under windshield in last scene. Hammer, shovel, knife don't work. Need what???
made some progress,used crow bar (maybe twice),brush for letter/digit clue,used stone and have a hook that needs something
hello maximom...know what you're speaking of, but cannot find hammer anywhere...basically roaming from one pile of scrap to the next...lots of hotspots but very little in inventory...hook, magnet, shovel.
maximom,think i smashed window with rock for crowbar
OK, found rock in next to last scene to break glass for crowbar. (Rock hidden in red car far left.) Very annoying that inventory covers active part of scene and have to keep closing.
Hi Cate! Well you've got a few things I haven't found yet. I used the shovel in scene 3rd from end. Shovel is still inventory so likely can use somewhere else.
be on the lookout for 4 metal boltheads and 4 colored buttons with tools on them...i am bored as a gourd looking at all of these piles of scrap...need a string and stick of some sort.
Now have a screwdriver bit but no handle/driver. Looks like we need a wrench, too.
i'm sorry, maximom, but i'm bailing...either i am more weary than i thought, or this is like visual white noise and it's putting me to sleep...good luck!
HINT: Knife used in last scene, upper right corner to open some kind of tube for another screwdriver bit.

canderella, thanks for the heads up. I hate putting time into games only to find out they're buggy. Do you remember where you found the screwdriver?

found screwdriver but it is stuck to the cursor and I can't do anything.
NOT starting this mess over.
HINT: used brush on winshield of white car at top of scene in scene 3rd from end. Gives 5 letter/# clue.
HINT: found screwhead symbol in 2nd scene under red car in background
my spanner/wrench got stuck when i went to use it,anyone else have this problem ?
HINT: got lighter from finding all 4 screwhead symbols in last scene.
ha ! you need to use both spanner and wrench !
kevaus, apparently 2 others have had same issue. I haven't found the wrench yet, but I am inclined to bail if the game is bugged and can't be completed. I don't think these games save your progress either.

don't put screwdriver back on petrol cap it will stick to curser

Haven't found a place for the lighter yet, but I did try to set the tire hill in scene 1 on fire.
use blade in 1st scene
use blade in second scene
HINT: Used lighter in scene with yellow and white bus, goes in dark spot in front of bus. gives 4 numbers.
yeh found screwdriver in tyre in the scene with blue car on top of red car

screwdriver bits are hint for box under right car in scene with blue roof shed
anyone know where the brush is?
use steering wheel thing on open petrol tank (blue car) for key and out !!
enzed, I don't remember where I found the brush, but I looked at my posts and I think maybe it came from using the crowbar somewhere. Maybe someone with a better memory can give you a better clue.
Max- that would make sense as I still have the crowbar. Wish I could find the hotspot though!

the long rod is used to make a long hook

canderella, the magent you dig up. there are 3 places where I used the shovel: scene with white car where the exit arrow is, scene with 2 stacked red cars, and scene just to the right of that one with the row of cars where one is bright yellow.
HINT: used magnet in scene with white car in trash pile on left hotspot. get another screwdriver bit.
HINT: hook with rod is also used on tire stack in scene one for a saw blade.
Surprise: don't need a handle for saw. use blade to cut thru rusty metal in scene 1.
i think saw is used twice,if i remember
Kevaus, you are right! I just used it on the barrel in scene 2 and got a pipe wrench.

Thanks for all the help so I could finish this miserable game! Also, kevaus, thank you so much for your clue posted at 8:40. I would have burst into tears otherwise when the spanner just froze there waiting for me to fetch the pipe wrench!

Hardly ever happens to me, but: this is BORING..!
More a Hidden Objects game than anything else.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I found/used/placed a lot of stuff, but without getting any satisfaction from it.
I quit.
I liked the game enough...except I didn't like having to use the two wrenches in and out of inventory for every bolt. Thanks FEG ThxACxo!
My screw driver is stuck to my cursor - No way to zoom out now - Not going to bother restarting
My game froze when I tried to use the screwdriver on the empty hole where the gas cover was. Now it is stuck on my cursor and I can't click on anything.... grrrrrrrrr
