for the 5 spike impasse, simply click them all in to the ground. no number count needed.
Book gives 5 # clue combine with april to get hint

what is the colour order for the wheel i thought it was red orange blue yellow
I need some help with the 4 letter puzzle and how to know which colour goes where in spinning puzzle.
the book will give you the clue for color dot wheel...after seeing clue, put the appropriate dots of a single color in slots and a number will appear in the middle...and, yes, canderella, that is the correct order. use the 4 number code to plug in to an earlier puzzle.
stuck with key and battery. one page in book (4 letters circled) not used.

jenny, not sure what key you have, but i probably opens another lock in the book. don't remember the four letter code page, but could it be the 4 letters you are looking for to put on log?
Yes I am looking for letters for log.
and I CAN"T get that darn spinning puzzle.
The key I have won't work in the bool.
I have tried the circled letters from the page every way I can think of on that log and nothing.
Jenny the circled letters are SKYM in that order...
also, for the spinning color wheel start with red and work across the page that had bananas etc on it.

For colors, do I put all the reds together or repeat the pattern or four colours? I have tried both ways and nothing happens.
just put them in the wheel first are the red...put all 4 in
it will work down from there. One more point before I go...at the end you will get a flashlight and two batteries, load the flashlight then use the key on the gate it will again say "to be continued" crazy FEG!
I give up. The wheel just does not work for me. I have tried everything! What an obnoxious puzzle!
Jenny before you leave...put all 4 red in the center circles it will count down from there to go to the next colors
It drove us nuts until we realised that we had to put all four reds in the inner circle as Sharon said.

A bit of a pixel hunt, but a good game nonetheless. Loved the idea of the book. Don't quite get why I had a flashlight that I didn't have to use though.

didn't realize the first clue in the book was for the rotating puzzle, got my hammer.
