Having problems with the ball puzzle (red, green, purple). After the 4th or 5th moved ball they won't move anymore.
what colour goes where on the ball puzzle? Is there a hint somewhere?
I am stuck with a blank scroll, empty inkwell, silver handled bowl and paper with slots in it.

Jenny: the silver handled bowl (was that the one from the log?) can go at the branch up in the tree. But I dunno what for.
And the paper with slots in it goes on the yellow window down in the cellar
POP paper with holes goes over window in basement (first room) for 2# hint for 2nd basement room. now have a feather.

swap balls thru centre but i aint seen clue yet
I think that the back color of the ball thing (the places where the balls are have colors) is the hint where to put which ball. But as said above, after a few moved balls mine won't work anymore.

Trial and error balls are purple bottom, green top left, red top right.

It is not trial and error. There are colors behind the balls. But I can't move them. So I think I quit.

Got the ball puzzle! It worked for me when I avoided to move over the middle space, only swapped over the middle space (hope that makes sense).
