Towels go in washing machine in the bathroom.

When all three are in, the door will close, the machine will spin, then open revealing the colour order for the small rock in scene with boy.

Towels are clue for 3-color clicker in boy scene. You need to open left house with blue key to get 3rd towel.

shame I cant find blue key LOL too early in day and not enough coffee yet..
