When you get past the fan where there is a grate on the floor be sure to look at the top right. There is a shard of glass there. You need it to cut the rope.

the date on desk paper is not the code for cabinet? tried red numbers and the july year. Am I missing something?

Use the numbers on the fan in combination with the direction clue for the safe in the vent on the right.

Once you've stopped the fan, you can go "up".
When you go through the stopped fan, don't miss the sharp piece of metal top right corner. You'll need it to cut the rope. Wonder why the nippers didn't do the trick.

i can't put in any numbers, i click on the buttons but nothing happens.

I have same issue as Amanda - can't enter code on locker, and the only number i can press on the keypad inside the tunnel is "9"

Thanks Uzi,I did see Vic mentioning something about it as well, but I didn't find a hotspot. It's to the right side of the desk, it moves the desk to the left.
Amanda and Jeffrey, I had the same problem dailing the numbers on the panel. I ahd to refresh the game, then it worked for me.
