Stuck with an axe and a golf club in two pieces.

Cut branch off tree with axe to use as a torch. Not a very long game but interesting.

3 stars placed what next?

I got out but with a one star (fail). Did anyone figure out how to get a better ending?

Had 4 stars...probably I collected the fireflys?

Good one - but that "fail" at the end feels a bit uncalled for... After all, I did what I was supposed to do...

4-star ending. Got all the fireflies, not sure what gets a 5-star ending (maybe fewer moves?).

Either timing or moves get you a 5 star rating (assuming you get all of the fireflies). I played 3 times, trying to improve my efficiency and finally got 5 stars on the 3rd try. Nothing changes, so it's not really worth it.
