I truly don't get the book clue and dots:/

Ah had to watch WT, book clue needs another clue with it to decide what dots to use.

in my game the unopened cb gave me a lot of additional half circles - got out with 4 units unused (LOL). A good thing is, that this glitch did not ruin the whole game, so I rate it with 4 stars.
