I'm not sure if you're supposed to but you can do the "thermometer puzzle" in S5 by trial and error.

Hi AO, Hotz and Dazz. I've been trying to make Xs all over the place. No good. Still have the X paper after using it on the roses and the direction buttons.

Phew I got dead lucky on the rotator puzzle. Only about 5 or 6 clicks.
Still got 3 papers (human, sums and jumbled letters). I guess they are for use on the grid in S2. This could take some time as well.
I tried the obvious way of using the HUMAN letters on the 5x6 grid. Doesn't work either top to bottom or bottom to top.
Anyone got that 5x6 grid? I've tried all sorts of things: just one button per column or filling them in, red and green Human and MAHNU. Nothing ;-(
I think, I have solved the slider in S7 (colored X), but it doesn't work. what is the trick?

POP, the trick is the empty place in center...

brown buttons form a diamond inside, the colour buttons are outside on corners as per X paper

I don't see any way that the numbers paper can be relevant to the grid, but I rather wish it wasn't still in my inventory.

That HUMAN and scrambled letters page was the stupidest clue. I finally understood it but it's really really dumb.
