I have: a gadget with 2 switches and an aerial, a water bottle, scissors, sellotape, a screwdriver, long-handled pliers, a torch. Couldn't get torch to work in dark room.

Opened 5-switch box by 'accident' and got red butterfly.

Don't forget you can combine items. You need a battery for your torch.

Cooled-down coal (use water) gives second butterfly.

Got fingerprint from red ring on table and used to operate switch - get third butterfly. Placing butterflies gets exit key.

There was a clue for the 5 switches. Just after you use the torch.

where is the battery?

You get the battery out of the remote control by combining it with the screwdriver.
