Was there somewhere a clue for the cat? I just bruteforced it and the right answer was "when you are a mouse", I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. Maybe there is some special meaning, I'm not good in English, especially in idioms etc. Google didn't help either.

The clue for the cat was on the scroll found in the first scene.

Oh, thanks, Melody, I never found that scroll.

Alpha, the center numbers are the biggest, and if you look right and left you can see that e.g. 12 and 7 will make a ...

The other number puzzle was just subtracting.

(Or adding, if you look the verticals.)
