Scratches by skeleton clue for last day. The scratchouts are not counted.
Excellent game. These are more true to the original escape games where you actually have to figure things out.
In most escape games today you just pick up something in one room and place it in another. Others are loaded with "busy work" changing colors and directions on a profusion of items.
Unfortunately, Many EG24 players rate easy games more highly than the better quality ones.

you have to catch a particular fly with the net (unfortunately a pixel hunt that hold me up for some time)
also placing the fly for spiders needed to find the right spot

Nice game. I do wish someone would explain the last day clue...I had to find a walkthrough to get the answer, and I still don't get it.

Yeah, no idea on how the date was found, other than the year.
for "last day " in the room opened with 3 colors numbers (hint calendar) zoom on wall beside skeleton
and note year = 2017 and the bars
count the group of days bars ==> 04th day of 07th month
==> 04 07 17
I was stuck with the fly for a while before reading here that it was indeed for the spiders (I'd tried so many times that I assumed I needed something else). Spot to drop fly is somewhere top right of spider box.
Day of the week was easier to understand once realizing that each group of seven lines with one slash represented a week. If you count the lines (not the slashes), you can tell they correspond to days of months.
"final day" not "day of the week."
Now that was a real good escape game. The rest are trash.
LOL, I ran out of rocks with the slingshot, and failed the game. No idea how to aim that thing. Not worth repeating to find out.
Dean, yes, if you miss you have to start over. Aim the catapult at the wall opposite the target till the line aims at the target.

The order of the date entry is DDMMYY, and the calendar showing March is a red herring.
