Am I the only one having a problem where none of the buttons on the keypad work, except 9 for some reason?

I checked and can't find anything wrong with the keypad. I'm still looking though.

Ok SD, I figured something out. The keypad works for me, unless I turn the sound on in the game (which is off by default). Then all the buttons stop working except 9. Bizarre I know, but I tested thoroughly and that's it. If I start a new game, the keypad works. If I then hit the speaker button and unmute the sound, it doesn't work anymore.
