The apple is supposed to go in the flashing hole in the A<B scene, but won't stick. Tried going slowly, but it doesn't want to go in. How did you get it to stay in the hole?

The diagonal 1-2-3 clue (along with another clue in 3rd set) and the O=H/H=F clue are used in 3rd set of scenes.
I don't understand the volcano chick clue or rot explanation
So confused on last 3 symbol puzzles that look similar even with clues....oh and thanks for apple clue above!!
Alice, first do the math to find order 1-8
The volcano chick clue tells you what number (1 through 8) to assign to the images in the wavy yellow puzzle in the scens two right from far left (with the bunny on the right).
Solve the math first. So, the first is 2+3, which is 5. Do the rest and you will get 51624378 as the order left to right.
Then use the volcano clue to determine which image goes where. For example, the number for the first circle in the yellow puzzle is 5. The 5th image in the volcano clue is a chick with a 1/2 eggshell over its head. So put that image in that circle. Proceed with all the rest in the same way.
Spoiler:
First circle - eggshell over head
2nd - chick facing down left
3rd - chick in eggshell with arms out
4th - chick facing down right
5th - chick with wings outstretched
6th - chick facing up right
7th - chick in eggshell without wings showing
8th - plain chick, facing front.
