It IS the black and yellow numbers. Use the yellow numbers the way Yvonne said.

I know most of you are already through, but I just wanted to note that the game had a bug for me so I had to close. When I drill for water and threw the "bud" in, the cat comes out with a paper on his head, but it wasn't there. I then had to the "B1, B2, etc" arrangement from the walkthrough, but it didn't work. I'm going to try again now (if I have the patience to go through everything again)
Didn't like this game at all...lots of the puzzles made no sense to me at all and the paper on the cat's had vanished before I could take it - I gave up!!!
