shells go in letter puzzle scene, but in a particular order (missing 1, can't place 1 I already have before...)

& it happened again...!
I already placed 2 of the shells (as usual, as I place collected items immediately to empty the inventory & get the feeling of moving on ☻), then collected the other 2, but the top right one just doesn't want to go in its slot...!
restarting with resuming didn't help
not restarting from scratch
G4K, plz don't only check the way of collecting all first, then place, but also the method I mentioned - thx

It worked for me once I had all the shells.

I didn't have a problem collecting and placing as I found items.

I had no problem at all with the shells.
Problem for me is the coloured-dog slider.

What to do with the spider and tread?

Lower them in the hole in the ground.

Only difficutly was finding the spot for the butterfly! It was very dark! Left of the arrows towards the bottom.

Finally. That was tough!
