Zombie Society - Dead Detective: Rats in a Hole is another point & click adventure
type escape game developed by Francesco dell Anna Muja for Interactales and hosted on NewGrounds.
In this funny game with pixelated original art, Zombies have conquered
the world, and they have established their own society. It’s a lot of
fun, but even a zombie society has its criminals! Meet Margh, undead
private detective, and his partner Ghvnn, and help
them solve the case at hand! Interrogate the suspects, find clues and
combine them as if they were
items in your inventory, form your own deductions and find the culprit…
or accuse the wrong zombie! This time, Margh and Ghvnn have been invited to a party in their honor. But the party quickly
turns out to be a trap, and the detectives are challenged to find a
hidden treasure. What’s worse, some of them disappear without a trace… There are different endings depending on
your choices. By the way: you don’t have to be dead to play this game!

just checked again & it loaded fine (for me) in FF & Chrome...

Check the answers more than once when solving riddles.
What is the correct theory? 'Cause I apparently got the wrong conclusion. I don't really understand the last bit with the arrows, if I'm honest.
Yes, BlackFireSong. It can be confusing. A red line means that particular deduction doesn't go with the theory. But I can get only two theories, and both seem wrong.

Here you'll find the walkthrough of the new episode of the Dead Detective series, titled "Rats in a hole"!
SPOILER ALERT!
1. Watch the cutscene, then you'll start the game at the entrance of the building, with one item (the invitation) and one clue . Talk to detective Sighret until you get a new clue then interrogate him to get yet another one . Now leave to the left.
2. You'll find Detective Poiroar in this room. Talk to him to get a new clue then interrogate him about the invitation. Go back to the entrance, then leave through the right.
3. You'll be in the music room. Talk to Detective Wooh to get a new clue then interrogate him about the invitation, too, to get another clue. Proceed to the next room.
4. You'll be in the bedroom, in the presence of Miss Marghle. Keep talking to her until you get two other clues
5. Interrogate her abot the invitation, too. If you've interrogated all the detectives about this clue, you'll get a new one
6. Leave the room, then go all the way back to detective Poiroar. Interrogate him about the new clues you've found, and you'll find another one . Leave the room. You'll suddenly hear Poiroar screaming, so go back to his room to find out he's disappeared without a trace
7. Go back to the Music room. Watch the cutscene, then pick up the paper on the floor. It's time to solve some riddles!
8. The solution to the first riddle is the mirror, so go to the bedroom and examine it. You'll find another riddle.
9. The solution to the second riddle is the piano. Examine it to find the third riddle.
10. The solution to the third riddle is the TV. Go back to the room where Poiroar were, and turn it on to get the final riddle. Keep playing with it, and you'll find a booby trap and a new clue
11. Go through the secret door, and watch the cutscene. Once it ends, simply ask Ghvnn to lift the cage. Once you're free, don't run after Sighret yet. Examine the statues once again. This will open a new secret door, and through that you'll find Lugroan. Now go back and follow Sighret into the treasure room. Watch the cutscene, then form your theory to end the case!
Clues:
After solving third riddle, fiddle with TV to reveal trapdoor in floor.
Do not follow Sighret immediately into treasure room, but fiddle with statues to reveal another secret door.
