dazz, i use an add-on for chrome called Lightshot that takes screenshots within the browser. it's free and easy to use, and doesn't seem to cause chrome to crash or anything.

I don't like it when we have to spend a long time opening color puzzles and have to repeat the whole thing when close it to see the clue
