Beautiful game, but I did not understand the logic of pressing X and V marks.

It's the number of things on the scroll which are right or wrong (e.g. the spider is missing a leg, the face lacks an eye, 4+7=11, etc.).

I'd love to see the game-maker cut a key using only an open fire and a wooden mallet!

These games would benefit GREATLY from an "About" function for the inventory (unless there is one and I don't see it). For me, the biggest hindrance is figuring out what something is so I know how to use it.

The colour egg clue is too random.
