ReplyDeleteThe video walkthrough doesn't even show the part with the paper to get the 4 digit code. The walkthrough points to the tree and then plugs in the number. That's why folks get the idea of counting.
ReplyDeleteExcept for the final 4 digits clue this was a nice little game. I cannot fathiom how they came up with ath number, there's clearly 3 bells but that's not right for the first digit, nor are there 6 or 5 hanging balls candy canes to be seen...unless I'm missing something?

ReplyDeleteEscaperPaper: Use the SD on the round gift box (the one with the #3 on it). There is a paper in the lid after you use the SD. Put that paper in the fire and you will see circles with 1-4 dots on them. Use the scissors to cut holes in the circles.
ReplyDeleteNow go to the Christmas tree and zoom in to the spot where you found the electrical tape. Put the paper with holes there and you will see the order from 1-4 for items (bell/candycane/ornament/candle).
Go to the gray box that you unlocked and see the items between the white 0 and 9. Those items are in order from #1 (leaf) to #8 (star). Find the places where the 4 items are: Bell is 2nd, candycane is 5th, ornament is 6th and candle is 3rd...thus the code 2563.

You hit it out of the park. It has been ages since we have had such a great game come to this site!
Good game, logical and easy, but needed some little thinking though. Snowman clue was for me an exception, didn't understand it, dialed the right combination unintentionally.
ReplyDeleteAs I now understand, you don't need GRG and BR snowmen positions at the same time, also you don't need to consider the positions of snowmen in relation to the room and/or box NESW position. The order is important: first you have to place BR positions (as they look from the window, not as they really are, if you look from the sky), and secondly turn the green dials according to already turned red button. If I'm right, then I have to say that the logic in that puzzle needs some improvement. If I'm wrong, then I'd be happy to hear the correct logic.
A very nice game, once again I came too late to get involved with the chat.
