Incredibly silly game. If one could unlock a door in the manner depicted, then mortise locks would have become obsolete hundreds of years ago. I bet the game-maker a thousand Euro that s/he cannot cut a hole in a fence in the way depicted here.

ReplyDeleteHave placed the repaired stool in the first scene, have a letter clue, but nowhere to use it. Got cotton wool, a hammer, a cannister and a round handle.
Just tried using everything on everything and the hammer opens the gate in the rightmost scene.

ReplyDeleteBook clued isn't working for me either. Switched to Chrome and can't even get game to run. Frustrating spending all your game time just trying to get the game to work. Like a game in itself.
