Metallix TD - Tower Defense is a cute Japanese tower defence type strategy game. In this defense game you need to defend your base by defeating all mechanical animals before they reach to the power source. You have to build towers in order to defeat your enemies. One of the better TD games I've played!
ReplyDeletei got to lvl 10. Here is a hint. at the first level get only one of the weakest machine and keep upgrading it. when i died the machine had max movement and max range. the others where i think 3/5 and i think 2/4.
ReplyDeleteI've made it to Lvl 21. Had to learn to move towers fast so they can attack at more than one location. Move the towers with the enemy so they keep blasting. Built mostly cannons (4) and one laser. Got creamed on 21.
ReplyDeleteI made it to level 22. I kept with lasers most of the time, but after level 20 a huge machine comes on and takes up more than just the one square wide. My lasers got destroyed :-(
ReplyDeleteI've been to level 20. Only use the laser with one attack upgrade can handle level 1-4. 5 u need a green machine. Level 10 u need to move around fast to hit it contiuesly inorder to pass. Also u'll need 2 more little machine with a attack upgrade if u can.

ReplyDeleteYou can get to 17 with only a cannon but you must plan your moves.
Currently I've got to 29 (267000pts) but on Metallix home site there is someone over 550000. !

Be prepared for major addiction. I get to level 40. 2 lasers fully upgraded except for speed, 1 fire. Keep upgrading fire, especially quanity. Fun game . . . for those that don't cheat. Impossible to get past 41 (I think)
ReplyDeleteManaged to get pretty far with one laser. Lvl 25 or 26. Bought, upgraded, and sold cannons to pay for laser ups. It can be a huge gamble, but using the shape of an enemy path against them can prove to be an advantage.
