Do you have to hold the stick at a certain point (ie: at the very end of the stick or at the glass shard) and how far from the lighter fluid does it need to be and how long do you have to hold it there? I've been trying all sorts of combinations and nothing's working.

ReplyDeleteyou will get a small flame that does nothing if you hold the glass above the lighter, put it under the lighter and it becomes a large flame, put water on it right away or you die...
dont we have to do anything with the box like things to the left of the dresser(which i cant see much of due to the ray of light?)

ReplyDeletemy first time...(and first posts)
Drag shovel to potted plant. click until you reveal a rock.
take rock and click somewhere above tool box a little to the left on the bottom of the fourth supporting board(thats where i did it...you could also try area between plant and window, randomly click and rock should break window.(but be careful not to click open window..you'll jump out and fall...however, it is the easier way lol!
Take rock and drag it on top of lighter in lower right corner..it should break and end up in middle of floor.
Click on table about 5 or 6 times it will flip over. take gum in middle of table. Then click the back left table leg a few times til it breaks off.
take golf club...one with black handle..furthest one to the right. take golf ball under the golf bag. place golf ball on florr(i dont think it matters where and drag club on ball. it will make a hole in the ceiling.
click on tool box..its a bit of a pixle hunt but click on the lock. if you cant get the lock combo to show up just zzom in on lock. Ck4 is the combo...dont know where it comes from.zoom out and get screwdriver.
drag the tip of screwdriver to each nail on the floor panel. click panel and take key.
insert key in second drawer and take glove.
take glove and drag it over to glass peices ..it will automatically grab.
now in your inventory drag gum to stick and glove to stick ..it will make a magnifying glass.
next take cap and place it under water drip on floor.
now the aggrevating part....place the magnifying glass somewhere in the sun spot near the lighter. i held it under the lighter slightly to the left under fluid dpill...you have to drag and hold it wont stay by itsself..after a few secs..or mins it will start a fire. wait for fire to make hole in ground...then drag hat full of water to fire..jump in hole then your out!
Aggravating game. I wasted 10 minutes of my life holding that magnifying contraption over the lighter and fluid and nothing. So, I jumped out of the window...btter than staying in that attic!

ReplyDeletei don't like this game at all, this magnifying glass thing is just so stupid and boring. i jumped out of the window 14 (!!) times, now i finally managed to get the fire burning. but - after 23 minutes still no hole in the ground ;o(.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry too. I shouldn't bag a game that somebody has put time and effort into but I think this game has some issues. I think I've figured out how to consistently break the window (place the rock on the lower right and then drag to upper left of the pane and let go)but the fire starting is just too inconsistent. Restarting doesn't help but a reload can. And the code for the toolbox...as far as I know, there are no clues and it'll open with other combinations. Good idea but too frustarating.
