Danmanx is right the language has nothing to do with this game being difficult! I think maybe we either need another wheel or it's too damm pixely to place the buttons above the door. The tab isn't much help either as we seem to have used all the hotspots!!

I mean when you put the "plug" in water it becomes a grey ball.. but grey ball is number one (according to tubes numbers)... so... maybe if we let that grey ball into water and try to put gold one into water just after it will works.. But to know that I have to restart game once more... and I have a bad feeling about that idea...

The word for silver is plata in spanish but platinum is platino. I restarted and used the gun last, which changed the grey button to yellow, which now says oro or gold- there's our chemistry teaching bit!! Like we've said before the game is a little buggy!

ReplyDeleteIt's a bug Pistelli, the grey one turns turn gold after you use the gun on it. That's why everyone had the grey and gold in the same spot in the inventry.

ReplyDeleteI'm back, and trying to find out something useful about Copernicus that we can use. Nothing has worked yet though. He came up with the idea that the sun is the center of the universe, not the earth. Following along the lines alice was thinking earlier perhaps the gold button represents the sun....just throwing ideas out there.

This game is not buggy. We were doing things out of order. In the chem room, open the safe, take the plug (which says it's an electrolytic precipitator) and place it in the agua regia (nitric acid) beaker. You get a platinum coin, which says, let's try some alchemy. Touch the coin with the electron gun and it turns to gold.
ReplyDeletei cant place the coloured dots! i have 2 greys, one on its own and one over the yellow. can place the solitary grey but cant get to the yellow - the grey just jumps back onto it.
